Back in my E39 M5 days, a group of us would meet for breakfast before going to C&C. We G8x owners should try to do that for March. Then we can park together. I'll tell you honestly though.. these days I just park at the Burger King across the street, have a biscuit and walk over. It's so crowded, so difficult to get in and out of (driving) that I generally just don't want to bother. But a GTG would still be pretty cool. If we could get enough guys and gals together, especially BMW CCA members, I could do a Roundel story on it... you'd all get your pictures in the magazine!

I finally get my break in service this Saturday. Car has spent more time at TVP and NRP than on the road since I got it! 🤣🤣. |

I absolutely will. This puppy has just about every option I could get plus almost all the M Performance parts. (In doctor Hammond's voice) "I spared no expense" lol |

My car is at the dealership!!!
I know some of you mentioned Tint World in Cary, but any recommendations for top notch PPF and Ceramic coating in our area and if so a round about price you paid. Thanks Bimmer fam. |

I used TVP, primarily because I was tied to them through Leith BMW’s tint and light PPF package. Upon some research, they seemed to be a top quality shop. I added TVP’s “track pack” PPF and silver level (5 year) ceramic pro which included brakes and wheels. Only time will tell on the quality but first impressions I’m very happy with them. Their prices were comparable to other quotes I received. |

I went full ceramic this time around and skipped the PPF. I used Liquid Finish in Apex. Car came out great and the service is without question the best service I have ever received after the fact. Guy continues to follow up making sure everything is cool and he provides an in person washing tutorial session to show best practices for maintaining the finish and recommended products to use. Been a long time since I've done my own car detailing so taking him up on his offer, but a really nice service to provide to customers. Highly recommend for ceramic coating. Sadly he doesn't do PPF though. Paid 1600 for full wash and detail, paint correction where needed, and ceramic coating.

She's finished with getting her MPP lowering springs, PPF'd and ceramic coated.
I pick her up tomorrow afternoon! Will share pictures when she's in my possession, but here is a sneak peek. Threw together a FB group for easier collaboration for a meet up if anyone is interested: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2774...220/?ref=share Last edited by ////\/\3; 02-22-2023 at 10:06 PM.. |

Thank you! She was well worth the 14 month wait. Individual, Singapore grey metallic. Had the same individual color on my previous F80. Loved it so much it came with me to the G80. |

Anyone else making it out to BMW Southpoint for the 2nd annual poker run this Saturday the 11th?
Would be cool to have a trail of G8X's going to each stop for a card. |
