Apex Built

Anyone installed there downpipes , I am looking at the ones that have the built in mini cats , they guarantee no CEL.

Looking for feedback and how much louder was the car ?

I have a g83 with a non-resonated active mid pipe

I did about 6 months ago and it's been great. Installer (who's probably done more G80s than anyone) commented on the good quality after installing. Noticeably louder with a deeper rumble...I highly recommend it. No CEL. Also if you have someone with a Govx account (law enforcement, military/government), you can get 10% off.

I’ve been running their downpipes for well over 6 months now - was one of the first to run them and absolutely love them.

No CEL, quality is top notch, fitment is perfect.

The added sound and flow paired with my full AA catback (non-res X midpipe) and VSC2 valve controller and amazing.

Loud but in a good way. Very aggressive and deeper sounding too.

Are these catted or resonated?

I'm pretty sure it was your initial review that got me on the path to buy these and I love them. I have them paired with the R44 Titanium Cat back and the two together at WOT sound insane.. I have the GESI catted ones too.

I just installed their front mount titanium intakes, had some fitment issues. They are semi-responsive and should be sending out replacement parts today to remedy my issue.

I've been eyeing those. Can you elaborate in the issue?

400 cell count I believe. Per their website:

"EPA approved GESI GEN2 UHO metal-core 400cpsi 4.5" cats, rated for 500-800hp applications & road legal in 49 states. "

I do see this written on the description for high flow cat dp but not the mini cat dp. Mini cat dp doesnt say anything about the cat other than it wont trigger a cel. Hmm

I installed their downpipes with MiniCats and they work flawlessly. All the good noise of catless, and no CEL. I'm going to tune once I get my exhaust worked out, but is great to not have the CEL now. Quality is amazing. Install was annoying but WAY easier than the eventuri intake LOL.

Been having issues getting a hold of anyone at Apex. No one picks up the phone. It seems that even took it off the hook after my first call today. Just going straight to vm now. Used their “contact us” page and sent direct emails too. Placed an order on the 24th of Feb. I get that parts can take some time to build and send but damn, at least put a notice up stating as such. Not sure if I should call Amex and file a dispute and get my money back or let it go and give them more time. I’m willing to do the latter. Would just like some input.

Doesn’t exactly fit their desire to put their customers first. Think I’ll give them another day or two to respond and then I’m filing for a chargeback since they haven’t done anything. Wasn’t asking for much, either. Just a “hey, we’re working it. Standby” would have been sufficient. Silence? Or calls that go straight to voicemail? Nahhhhh…. I don’t play that game.

Maybe they're just too busy and don't need anymore business.
