Cedar blames femto and femto saids contact Cedar. Been on this ordeal since I shipped out. Like nobody gives you a clear answer just whatever to get you out of the way for a few days then back to square one.
Anyone has had something similar? I didn’t want to post anything but this is ridiculous.

This scares the bejesus outa me.
Some guys have put AirTags in their packaging

Cedar adds AirTags at least they told me it is in findland BUT why isn’t coming back that’s the question I want the answer to.

Sounds about right for them. I used them to for my unlock and they were very responsive/informative up until the sale went through and I overnighted it to them. I had a couple of questions afterward and response times dropped to a week. Then I get a random call after three weeks telling me the DME is back and they shipped it out in two days.

What is supposed to be the benefit of adding an additional 3rd party into this process? You can easily send it yourself and door to door turnaround time without an unnecessary middleman is 1 week.

This. And you're in charge of your tracking number. Could've been something along the lines of being held up in customs for whatever reason. Tracking number could've told you this.

Do it yourself guys, it's not hard. You can even have DHL pick it up at your door for a small fee.

Totally agree with this now…so those in the fence do it yourself.

Check out @OrlandoAutowerks they don't require you to ship your ECU to them and they provide fair prices along with other bundles if you're interested in.
They do multiple shipments to Femto and back, with the fastest turnaround times i've seen overall.

Also @TristateBM3 they do lots of cars in NYC-NJ area and you can see Femto repost these 2 as they're probably the most used and popular ones in the US.

That part! I did everything myself and it cost me $1900 including the BM3 and the OTS map pack

I personally used Euro performance center and they hand delivered the DME to FEMTO. It was well worth the money in my opinion.

They provided next day air shipping to them in Virginia and back to me in California.

For those of you who shipped out your ECU as an individual, how did you go about paying the invoice from FEMTO? I placed the order directly through their website for the unlock for BM3 but unsure of how to submit payment. I tried messaging them on insta and email but no response yet.

*Update: Got the information from FEMTO to use Revolut.

I Used @OrlandoAutowerks. they had DHL pick up my ecu from my house on Thursday and got it delivered back on wednesday, less than a week. price was fair and they even sourced a extra ecu so i could clone and tune the exta and keep my stock ecu for warranty.

My DHL was picked up at 2PM today, and Express delivery should arrive at Femto on Weds before Noon. The express service (by Noon, instead of 4PM) cost me $5 extra.

It turns out I could use a smaller box than expected, so we’ll see if DHL gives me any change back. I’m hoping to have the DME back Friday or Monday. 🙏
