Catted is still an option as many people are using them cel free you just cant use that catted product with them.

If smell is not a concern your second best bet as far as sound is our resonated downpipe but the volume will be higher than the catted model.

I spend 3k on the AA catted on my X5 M50i and I still dealing with the cel, even though I got new one for replacement, which I may be selling soon as I more focus now on the g80. lol

Most are saying:
For catted like the MAD use the spacer without mini-cat.
For catless use the spacer with the mini-cat

I’m stock right now but on previous race only cars ran minicats with headers/catless/downpipe and they worked fine.

(Someone posted here about the spacers versus minicats as well but I can’t remember who…hoping they see this thread and respond

This info is correct.

I'll add their are also some of our customers running the catted with no spacers at all.

Will this mini-car work for a catted 200 cell downpipe and fix the check engine light error?

This has been the entire topic with 50/50 option. But as other said, the one you put(mini cats) works best for catless not catted.

Maybe, but it’s not the advised solution. Just follow the advice above and use the spacer with race cats.

And you find that they may work or not. Both options below working.
I also want to confirm where these spacers goes in?, the first or secound set of sensors from turbo side??

The cel's are totally different from each other.

One is from not seeing a cat (increased emissions) while the other is a delayed response which basically means the sensor is not getting enough flow across it usually caused by extending the sensor to far away from the flow or putting too much material in front of it. In this case a catted spacer along with a catted downpipe.

Hope that helps.

Not familiar with the pic you’re referring but would not surprise me if people don’t get it right. Here is a pic of a correctly installed mini-cat/ spacer.

Got it. Secound one(gray cable)
I was refering to the guy below that said he installed it on the first one close to the turbo, so right before cats. weird.

What are your experiences and how long have you had your setup?
Ur location says u r in LA. Arn't their emissions and inspections super strict? From what I read from thousands of catless downpipe posts and passing inspection in cali, they have to swap out to stock cats and flash to stock. Not sure if they also do visual and sniff test.

Jb4 also stopped providing CEL light delete to US clients.
Even if u have jb4 I'm pretty sure u have to remove it before emissions, bc cali's machine detects tunes.

Best bet is to get a custom tune like go physically, not over the phone, email, or screen share. The OTS tune wont help either. Once u talk to ur tuner, u will have the answer.

If u don't want a tune, BDo2sim is the only solution.
