Why risk it? I’d fix it.

These are very expensive cars and motors, I agree with the user above why risk it, whats a few hundred bucks compared to thousands.

a new one is not that much, and an upgraded aftermarket like CSF or Mishimoto is like 600 USD.... takes like 30 mins to install even on ramps at home.

Hoping this is a troll. Either buy a CSF one for $600 or buy a used one for even less from someone who bought a CSF / Mishi one. You drive a damn near $100k car, why are you being cheap?

Bro…duh…new one right away.

What if you start leaking and don’t realize? That’ll cost you an engine plus an oil cooler. Your $500 problem could turn into a $25K nightmare.

I got the Mishi skid plate, it installed really easily, and fits perfect. My floor jack fits the lift point cutout, which is same size as on the stock plastic cover. If I ever damage my oil cooler I’d buy it from Mishi too. They make good stuff for a fair price.

Csf is better than what you have now, just get a new one.
If it leaks and ruins your engine then you'll be spending anther 40k on the engine.

I wouldn't, just fill up whatever oil you lose, or wait until an oil change and do everything at once.
