The chassis sucks.
Interior is cheap, scratch that, everything is cheap.
No dealer network in Switzerland.
Atrocious mileage.
Have a Grand Cherokee so I know about the "quality" (ahem) of FCA products.
But there is no single car I desire more than a widebody hellcat challenger.

But it sounds fake on that car. Like watching a movie where the sound is offset from what's actually happening. An ICE car makes different sounds depending on what gear it is in, it's speed, when it accelerates, etc. This Tesla just sounds like it's burbling for no reason. Now if there's a way they can engineer the sound to be more realistic that would be better.

I don't buy that. Ever wonder why these euro-zone "noise regulations" never seem to apply to AMG and RS performance vehicles, which consistently sound sportier than the ///M?

I think the F80/F82 comp was the most aggressive sounding car off the shelf and had overrun many found obnoxious. More so that porsche, more so than any other German manufacturer.

Here's the US pricing for the G80/G82 exhaust. G83 fitment yet confirmed.

Titanium Slip-on axle back- $5820.07

US Only (does not delete secondary cats and 50 state emissions legal) Evo titanium mid-pipe - $1973.11

Non-US markets will get the Evo mid-pipe that deletes the secondary cats.

Tailpipe set, carbon V1 - $1781.71

Tailpipe set carbon V2- $1855.22

I think the cheaper version is pictured in the video and the more expensive one is the first version posted months ago.

They are both under $10K MSRP but not by much.

The car in the link is an EU car with OPF/PPF and the slip-on only, so US cars with the slip-on will sound even better with just the slip-on only and louder and with both the slip-on and mid-pipes.

This won't be the option for everyone that doesn't want to spend that much on an exhaust or appreciate the quality difference that Akrapovic offers.

Add in installation costs and it'll be $10k+. 😬

Still looking forward to hearing full on sound clips as well as being able to compare against the Remus setup.

Why is installation so much? Ive never owned a performance car or have done any modifications to my previous cars, so forgive my naivety but isn't it just lifting the car and replacing the exhaust? Shouldn't that take 3 hours?

3 hours
at BMW service tech hourly rate: $150
=$450?

🤷🏻 Realistically speaking it shouldn't be that much, but installation and tax this thing is definitely a $10k setup.

Yes, you can get the ability to control the valves either via a button or via Bluetooth and the Akra app. They have it listed on their site but I didn't see a price for the valve control capability.

It has valves and uses the stock actuators and ECU parameters to control them.

The optional sound kit allows you to control the valves independently of the ECU parameters. The sound kit is $494.15.

Do you think they'll sell the valve controllers separate from the exhaust kit? Meaning, can I buy just the controller for my stock exhaust?

They do sells it separately.
I believe it should work with stock exhaust.

I got given a sneak peak at the Akra diffuser. Sorry for the crappy quality but at least it is something.

Also got told the second tail pieces that Akra has not released will follow the traditional Akra tip and will be larger than the stock exhaust tips. Here is a another sneak pic I got.

Any idea if these tips would then require the Akra diffuser to be installed to accommodate them or will they still fit within the confines of the stock diffusers from BMW?
