What about the M4GTS?

crazy man, someone at the factory must have been drunk and just left a cage in my gts

While generally not road legal for the U.S, BMW has found a way by padding the cage to legalize it for the us here.

You know...I've driven 3 different M4 GTSs here in the US and my memory is failing me.

I just checked and you're right, the M4 GTS did come with the cage in US spec so I guess it isn't as illegal as I thought as long as it's just a half-cage fully behind the driver seat area.

The plates when matched to the internal specifications tell another story too. Similar to when GTS prototypes when it was also hiding different genetics.

That was my guess as well, a gen 2 MHEV system with 30hp or so extra (maybe more in a CSL implementation). lemetier hinted that the standard G8Xs could get this in a later MY. Maybe that is MY 2023 and coincides with the CSL timeline...

I guess it would have been more precise/gramatically correct to have written «... part electric» btw... 😉

Part hybrid doesn't really make any sense, either it is hybrid or it's not, probably no such thing as «part hybrid».... 😉😅

A G82 comp has been rolling around my neighborhood recently and it is absolutely glorious from the rear. At first glance I thought it was an M8 competition. The body is something to behold just as the M8 is. It looks more like a $100-150k car than it does its price. If only I liked the front-end I'd be all over this machine. It's a frustrating situation for me but for those who dig the front-end this car's a must have!

The G8X looks best in camo.

BMW should offer the camo wrap as the individual program.

Actually, they should make a COVID-19 facemask for G80/82 and then ....

... yes, and then we have a masterpiece
