I have an F87 that I'm currently building into my version of an M2 GTS if there was such a thing (GTS rims, bonnet, buckets, cage, etc).

I am not ordering a new G8x chassis, I am still loving my F82. But gosh that is nice F87! I say you are well on the way to having your goal built my friend.

That's an amazing color blue on your M2!

...you know, I was just sitting here thinking that the new M3 next to the old M4 makes the M4 look small, but it was already the "bigger brother" to the M2. Now I'm curious to see what your M2 would look like next to the new G82.

IOMG looking about 1 shade too light in the bright sun IMO, but still a really nice color. Much needed variety.

I saw the G80 up close today, a BG Comp and a BSM. I was like most people hating on the grill. The car looks really bad a** in person. The grill is not as massive as the pics make it out to be.

I will wait for the awd/lci before I get one.

I do agree the all black wheels on it is too dark.

One thing I am not liking on the car is the black side skirts/rocker panels. I think color matching will look much better. It makes the car look higher than it is.

I used to have a lifted truck back in the day, and I remember guys with trucks would paint the bottoms black to make the truck look "taller."

Totally agree re the "shadow line", that's my big gripe with the looks, it makes the 'stance' (hate that word lol) look rubbish imo. At least it's something that can be easily fixed.
I saw a render of a car that was colour coded & fitted with the thin black Mperformance decal insert on the side skirt & it looked fantastic. First mod for me would be a trip to the panel shop for a colour match.
How about a side profile shot of your M4, can't see it very well in the above pics.
There is a guy near me that has a white Fseries M4 GTS

I think if you took a poll of random bystanders, they would think the F82 is better looking and newer.

We get conditioned to think it's dated and the G8x is new school etc... But sheesh. These photos are clear IMO, the F82 is better looking than the G8x from the front.

I'd go as far as to say the F82 is up there in terms of being one of the best looking M's ever made. Not to take anything away from the G8x but looks wise there is no comparison, at least IMO.
