If the renders are correct then thats a no for me.

So I will have to buy an M340i or keep my F80 and get an M5 in 3-4 more years.

Wonder if the BMW designers are like "let's see what kind of dumb sjit we can pass off as beautiful to the buying public".

How do you like the small, four seat Porsche sedan and coupe? I hear they're really nice. Oh, that's right, no they're not because they don't f'ing exist.

Would it look weird with vertical double ribbed grill lines? cuz it doesn't look bad with horizontal, but it's not traditional BMW. but LMAO, the hoodline is still there. everyone complained about the f8x hoodline, but I don't mind it. I think the hoodline helps make the big grills look bigger because any grill above the hoodline looks buck teeth like.

It's not doing it for me, I'm definitely not a fan. But I'll wait until the official release and decide then

Absolutely hideous. I’m not buying one.

Keeping my M2c for a long time. Or Maybe grab an M2 at the end of the life cycle. CS or GTS.

I left when the F3x's were released. Happy I did if this is what does release and sells it's nothing but fanboys at this point. It's a Audi/Lexus nose cone with a painted bit in the center which is hideous.

If this is right, we've just reached the boss level of BMWs kidney grille game.

Thats exactly what Alfa did for the giulia. This to me is the opposite effect.

It is possible that a lot of companies look to see what bmw is doing and they could just be trolling everyone.

This design looks ok to me. I wish they went more for the csl hommage style grill instead of the i4 grill but it's still agressive. I'm hoping the m4 will look better with a more sloped roofline and rear hips like the 8 series on top of different tailights

Smart. Create hideous renders, so when the real deal debuts...”everyone is like that isn’t so bad compared to the renders”.

It will be polarizing according the resident insider.

There is still a lot of details left to the imagination to the designer, and this is just one designers take on what those details might be.

Is it close to what we will see? Yes.
Is it the final product? No.

Just 5 short years ago we went through a similar process for the F80 M3 renders - https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=591048
