2025 M4C xdrive stuck in quality check

Does anyone order the M Alcantara steering wheel with the Driving Assistant package? I placed the order in early Feb, it allowed me to select both of them. However, it's not allowed on the BMWUSA configurator, and my sales confirmed that with me. My build was stuck at quality check for 4 days, I'm wondering if it's because of choosing both. I wish I could get my cars ASAP.

I was stuck in QC for a few days as well, sometimes it’s stuck there if port is backed up from what I’ve heard around.

4 days is not stuck. My 2022 was stuck in QC for 4.5 months. Thats stuck.

Okay, my alcantara wheel got deleted from Options in Track My BMW website, looks like I cannot get both driving assistance pro and alcantara wheel. So sad

I guess your hand could not be recognized by the wheel when it is alcantara.

Yes, I am. Already 8 days, I saw someone else in QC for more than 2 weeks, M4 X also.

Last spring my M3 was in QC for 3.5 weeks.

Did you order the carbon fiber exterior package? Orders in 2022 were being delayed heavily due to carbon exterior and/or carbon bucket seats. Things are alot different supply chain wise this year vs 2022, but could have something to do with it?

Yeah, that was me. The quality on my build must’ve been shit as long as it’s been sitting there lol.

Also got my Alcantara wheel deleted

My ‘22 was delayed for CID (the center display panel). I tried hard to convince them to take it from another build, but they wouldn’t. I ended up abandoning it after 4.5 months and found one already in the US.

I didn’t. But I got the carbon fiber seats, maybe it’s related to that.

How did you know which part was causing the delay? Did you ask your sales at dealership?

My CA tried to find out for me and came up empty. So I made a big stink over it on all my social media platforms and it got escalated to customer relations, and that’s what they told me.

There’s gotta be a bigger reason to every 25’ M4 X Comp being stuck in QA… could it be the same recall they have on the XM brakes?
