Canadian Order Made in June 2021
I ordered an M4 Competition Cabriolet Frozen Dark Grey in June 2021 - production started in August estimated delivery October 2021. Then all has been stalled and the dealership hasn't provided me with an order number or VIN so I cannot verify what is going on. All I have been told by the dealer is that there is a hold up on parts and is waiting to ship. This has been the status since October - should I be concerned and what do you recommend I do?

Using the VIN you can use this tool to see what it part is missing, I.e. mine is the RAM. https://bmw-recall-tool.netlify.app/ Cheers |

Until those are showing closed the car will not get shipped to Canada. I was told that BMW CA does not do fix those issues at port like BMW NA when I asked why don’t they ship the car and fix it in Halifax, maybe someone else can chime in..

I called these Geniuses and they assured me these work orders are being fixed in Halifax (my port), but then my CA tells me no, its done in Bremerhaven. Everything just really sucks

Many US bound cars were shipped with RAM install to be done at port but there have been no reliable reports of this happening for cars shipped to Halifax.
