What we have here is a failure to communicate. My bad for not quoting the guy you were refuting. No disagreement with you.

I thought I had seen it all in the watering down of M cars with "executive packages" but I couldn't help notice that now you can get an option for a power closing trunk..... "really?" Are people that soft of years of power folding mirrors that they buy an M car and don't have enough "///Man juice" to close a trunk?

Please spare me the....oh if I'm carrying my Boba Juice and Tofu dish to the country club I need a weight adding button on my M3 to close the trunk!

Some of luxury car drivers I see around here like big Benzes has arms like pipe cleaners and wouldn’t be able to even reach up to the trunk to close it. It’s a new market...

I can relate to what you are saying.. at least the interior and tech is more advanced in Gx than Fx series. but it doesn't always mean its better..

Sure but the tech should take a back seat to the driving experience and it's appearance.

Time will tell I guess.

100% agree. if you are just after tech, you dont necessarily need an M car. the purpose of an M car is different.. i am not sure if the new Gx is on the right track though..

The F80 will go down as the best looking M3 ever.

The way to Judge a design icon is to determine whether it still looks good to the eye in 20 years.

The F80 will - and for that reason will be a classic.

The muscular rear - the front end with power dome. It all just works.

I doubt anyone would have complained if they slightly tweaked the F80 exterior - slightly wider rear bulge. Front facelift and redesign the entire interior.

Keep weight the same in the competition model and charge for it.

Keep the DCT like the A45 and RS3 have managed to do.

It would have smoked the competition.

Grill isn’t as surprising as it might seem
Before there was this batmobile, there was the “batmobile”
All about heritage man. Let’s take a closer look at what this new G series means for BMW. This head of design is on to something and I applaud his bravery for bringing us back to the 70s. Well done man.

F10 didn’t make E60 look dated. E90 didn’t look E46 dated. There are exceptions.

No, it’s ~3840 lbs.
C63 AMG is 3900 lbs. Audi RS5 is 4057 lbs.

54% in front is near perfect.

Competition is 3890 lb, add the awd and you are at RS5 weight, which is only 130 lbs lighter than my F90 M5 Competition.

How do you feel about M3 awd being almost same weight as the M5?
