Illinois to possibly no longer require front license plates!!!

Maybe now I can finally park my car downtown without fear of getting ticketed. I've never had any issues without a front plate outside of the city, but in the city I'm more or less forced to always park in a garage.

Cost savings mentioned as a reason, though I fully expect Illinois will turn this into something that costs the State more money.
