Yes I had a VIN assigned last week when my order went into 150. No movement in the tracker since then however.

10/27 - Production Begins
11/2 - Exterior Body Assembly Begins
11/3 - In the paint booth

Both Genius and my Sales Advisor said that the car is supposed to be done on 11/4, per what the system still says. We'll see about that...

As far as I understand, that "final assembly" is to get it ready for transport, and the quality check has been done to the build.

What are the last 5 of your VIN?

May I ask the last 5 of your VIN? I understand that is tied to the production sequence.

40998. I had the VIN when I hit Production Begins.

Mine is 44321 and hit prod begins on 10/21, so hopefully I move out of 150 at some point this week.

16221 hit production 10/26 (status 150). Genius today mentioned it's possible the factory system isn't updating and all the production updates could happen in a day or two...who knows.

I just went into status 151 exterior production this morning. Sounds like my 11/05 build date was pushed to 11/08, so week 45 as it stands now. If it stands at 11/08 would be OK as we’d share a birthday ��

Went into Paint same day as exterior assembly, 11/4.

(Still in paint booth morning of 11/5)

It seems like people were busy at the factory last night!

It was showing 150 yesterday, and this morning went all the way to "in the paint booth"!

Now is getting real!!

I think you and I may be week 45, seeing as our cars are still being built. I have an estimated build date of 11-10 now (just finalized things at my dealer this morning) and got a peek at their system. My CA wasn’t too optimistic on delivery timelines considering delays and recalls, hopes it’ll be delivered before year end.

I’ve been in the paint shop for 2 days. I was told I am week 45.

Might be. But I don't see any if at all movement of the week 45 guys either.
I haven't called the genius lately to verify, I'll give them a call monday.

I think you, bruce911_ and I are all in the same spot in the production line. Hoping by the time we wake up tomorrow our cars will be a few steps further along towards QC. Still hoping my car gets built tomorrow, would be a cool coincidence to share a birthday with my car lol.

Chicagoguy also seems to be a day or two ahead of us. Looking forward to this week as our cars are being born.
