I am heading to Columbus for first time soon can any one offer advice where to stay , eat things to do

The German village is a nice area for little restaurants

The main downtown area doesn't have a lot going on.

Jeff Ruby has a steakhouse there though which is fantastic

Stayed at the Marriott hotel right by the convention center last month. Can't remember the name but its the French sounding one.

Right across the street from a great seafood place called The Pearl.
