Tire Swap Before the Next Track Day?

I have 11,000 miles and 4x track days on my OEM Pirellis. The fronts are still good, but the rears are just over the 'wear bar' by about 1mm. I have about a week to get some new tires, but I'm trying to make it last one more track weekend. One of my buddies recommends swapping out the rears for safety, and the other is, of my opinion, to give them one last hurrah.

I'm kind of being a cheap ass, but we are in Biden's economy now. Gotta play the long game.

You know you are down to your "wear by date"...It's obvious that you will be going to the track with or without new tires...If you chance it and win, you will still need to buy new tires, just a week or so later. Where is the savings in that? If it all goes sideways (pun intended), you could be facing significant to catastrophic repair, or God forbid replacement costs. Got track insurance?... I didn't think so.
