Xdrive really makes the power more usable. I’ll never go back to RWD knowing a better alternative is here. |

Couple thoughts:
-hope they are ok -if it was a tire temp issue that’s unfortunately a dumb mistake. The second that driver hit the gas those tires will slip. My F95 hops all over the place at 45 degrees. It’s like driving a hockey puck. -I’ll speak for myself, but I don’t need more power, I need more driving skill! I spin out my F95 in autocross days if too hard on gas out of turns. And that’s in MDM mode so still some power to fronts.

I just want to bring up the point that you most definitely do not need all-wheel drive to feel safe or take full advantage of the G8X’s full abilities.
What you DO need is practice, training and a closed course. Spend your money here if you can.

Even my standard M3 Comp rear wheel drive can be a serious hand full with cold tyres and no TC, if you forget to warm them up and give it a boot full you can go around in a complete circle in a split second. Any RWD M3/M4 Comp is definitely not for a beginner driver!

Well the front bumper remodel has improved things, looks much more resolved.

Funny you mention this. I always drive with the traction on, especially on public roads. I know plenty folks who drive with the traction off just so they can say they drive with no traction control as if they are badasses. Few of them have gotten into a wreck for that very reason. I can tell you they are not professional drivers by any means. Keep traction control on folks, for your safety and others.

Bet he slammed on the throttle and didn't know he'd get torque steer and had he ACTUALLY known how to drive and wasn't a poser, and actually TRACKED the car. Hed know correcting torque steer is easy. Almost all the "loss of control" crashes I see is posers trying to accelerate in a straight line to pose (since that's all they can do, go straight), and yet somehow STILL fail at doing even that cuz they're so stupid. If you're car is veering right due to torque steer, just fuking correct it wjth opposite steer it's not even hard. These morons have more money than brains. |
