Truck turned right into my car...no bodily injuries so that's good but can't say the same for my car.

What do you guys think? Any idea how much will this cost?

Also any shop recommendations in NYC/North NJ would be helpful.

Haha yea sorry. The original is not rotated...not sure why it turned out that way when I uploaded. Ok $10-12k is kind of what I am thinking. Not totaled though I assume?

No, I could be wrong though, but I don’t think it’ll be totaled.

Can't say this is a "professional" opinion, but from the looks of it, I would say it is highly unlikely it would be totaled. Although there is a good amount of damage, it doesn't seem severe, so most likely it's just remove, replace, repaint and re-install for the most part. Also, $10K - $12K as frequentflyer123 said sounds about right to me too.

That said, depending on what else might have gotten damaged, the cost can escalate pretty quickly. For example, if the headlights got damaged, I've heard those are very costly.

Well, I assume he is going through insurance here, and if so, he'll only pay the deductible.

Assuming airbags didn't go off, would most likely rule out a total loss. Hopefully you got that truck's insurance info. Definitely does not look like anything you'd want to try to tackle out of pocket.

Go to J&B Body Works in Mt. Vernon. The type of cars they have there at anything given moment speak volumes for what kind of shop they are. They have done 10-15+ cars for myself, fam and friends. Let me know if you want a referral. No affiliation but I like to bring them business because of how good they are as a body shop and how good they've been to me as a customer.

Yep - got the trucker's info. I've heard good things about J&B but decided to take it to BMW Park Avenue for now. See what they say. Thanks all.
