Brunswick port

CA said Bremerhaven but idk how he could tell unless the GPS in the car is activated
My CA for the past 9 weeks told me car at port waiting for ship. When I got him to give me access to car gps via App…his stories fell apart Lmao. Like be honest instead of false hope. Honesty never doing business at that dealership again. Some of the frustration stem from lies and misinformation. Oh well it is what it is🤷*♂️
Is it difficult for the dealership to activate the GPS? And you can view the exact location through your app? If so has your car moved at all within the center?

Nope not difficult at all. Although when I get to update it..it said last update was 5/11 and will not let me force update any location. I tried unlocking doors and it failed. Maybe someone stole my car and deactivated the GPS..

My CA said he can activate it for me but won’t, as the car isn’t officially mine and he could get into a heap of shit for doing it. Understood so I didn’t push the topic.

Hopefully we get out on the same boat! I wish New York was a popular spot like Brunswick and other places. We get the short stick here

Yeah, it seems Brunswick makes sense for the southern states and PCD….but, what about the multitude of cars headed to the upper part of the east coast? I'm Great Lakes area (Cleveland)….what port would mine most likely arrive in?

Baltimore. Your order summary should have this information.

Not even at Bremerhaven port,4 months to close recall for RAM ( closed end of March) then shipped and held in some parking lot at Cuxhaven since April 14th. 45 days and counting since at Cuxhaven. Only thing to do is wait or cancel. Clearly BMW doesnÂ’t really care that much, all they keep saying is that the car will get shipped soon. DonÂ’t worry youÂ’re not the only one affected. ThereÂ’s a couple boats scheduled for June for the States, us here in Canada boats only come from WW, while you get NYK,Hoegh,K-line, ACE etcÂ…
Keep the hope going !

This port step (193) sounds like an absolute nightmare after already waiting so long. If no stop sales or recalls….is anyone getting on a ship within a week or two of arriving at port? Should we all just expect a month or more?

Some did, but there's not much rhyme or reason to it. (I've been at port nearly 3 weeks now.)

There are four ships scheduled to depart for the East Coast this week, so hopefully that helps move the backlog (it f'n better)...

A little over 2 weeks at the port for me so far, Don Carlos comes in today hopefully we will get lucky and make it onboard.

I am hoping to be on one of them as well. If Bremerhaven holds up to 95k vehicles and, assuming they are at capacity, those 4 ships should clear out 20-25K I would think…

Orion Highway scheduled to get in today…

2 weeks for me so far to the West Coast USA. First boat myself and many others weren't placed on. 2 just left last night so I guess we'll all find out Monday if we made it or not.

I think if I didn't make it on either of these ships my soul is going to be crushed. Next ship to the west coast isn't until June 6/7. The port stage is honestly the worst.

I’ve ‘only’ been at the port for four days but I can’t help but believe that the majority of ordered cars are making it onto ships inside a month. Otherwise there’d be a lot more of us complaining about where our cars are at!! Keeping hope alive!

That's indeed the issue! I get it if a car has stop sales etc then there will be a delay but holy shit some people stuck there for 4 months is unacceptable. That should be priority. At the end of the day I guess we shouldn't complain since we got an allocation and praying I get my car before July. I am not holding my breath that I made it on a ship just yet.

If you are planning to cancel it, why bother tracking the vehicle.
