The M340i is a stunning car in ever sense of the word.... but what's the point in having a stunning car when you can have an insane car? |

I’ve owned every M3 except the e30. I can’t wait to continue the tradition with the G80!

My M3C will not only be my first M car but my first BMW. I’ve been driving Audi’s for the last 11 years and only switched once Audi cancelled the RS3 for Canada. Drove the RS5 but it was more sterile than Lysol wipe and did nothing for me. I bought the M3 after a random dealership visit just to see if I would like it.

To me, the M3 was always the un-obtainable ultimate sports car. I'm still pinching myself that this year, it moved from "unobtainable" to "obtainable" in my life. Never thought it would happen, but here we are.

I've in 5's for a while, currently in a M550. I seriously considered an M5 last year but something kept holding me back. I finally concluded the 5 is just to big a car me, so as much as a beast the M5 is, it too would not be the nimble car I want. (No offence to the M5, I know it's highly rated)
I'm very excited the M3 will be my first M car!😊 |

I like how you didn't count the M340i as an M car! 😁

Creature of habit
As per the title I am a terrible creature of habit. I have looked many time at other brands (nearly tempted by Aston Martin early Vantage and more recently Porsche) but this is my 7th M3/M4 (E36, E46, E92, F82). They have always suited me so well.... And the current G82 is the biggest improvement and the best (and biggest) by some distance... Love it..

I'm surprised by how many people voted yes. Most BMW owners I know have been owners for 10+ years. This will be my first new M but my 8th or 9th over all. I've owned multiple E36 M3's, E46 M3, and a pair of E92 M3's (one supercharged) over the last 10 years.

First M, and first BMW.
I have always found traditional BMW front ends attractive. But when I saw this massive ugly double kidney - or whatever the so called experts call it - I fell in love. I think it aggressive and sporty, and very much my cup of tea. I am an architect by trade. The greatest designs are often polarizing. And it is not easy to update something so iconic. I applaud the BMW designers on this one. |

My first BMW was a 2015 X5. Loved it. So I bought a 2015 335 and I still have it. Use it daily. Late last year I wanted to buy my first "Sports Car". Budget was 100k.
I first thought, let's get the C8 but I have 2 little ones so that wasn't going to work. Did a lot of research and just thought the G8X was the best car under 100K overall. Currently driving a G83 (Swapping with a G82 soon, selling this one... Lmk if you're interested 😉. I absolutely love everything about this car. The drive, the look, the features. Couldn't be happier. No buyers remorse (besides switching to a coupe instead of convertible). And the community is amazing too.

In the last two years went from 718 GTS to 991.2 GTS to 718 GT4 to G80 M3 Comp.
Missed the 991.2 GTS for hauling family around backroad trips but price on them are insane so M3C was the next closest thing, mostly to meet that mission. |
