Agreed on the deposit. There are laws that protect you from this exact situation. Not to talk down on cars sales associates but there is so much misinformation communicated by word of mouth. I can tell you from my experiece, when I put my deposit down, I mentioned to my CA that I forgot to sign the “paperwork” and he said “you don’t need to really do that. You’re ok.” I never signed any agreement so I’m pretty sure you’re not bound by whatever you signed. I even asked what happens if I change my mind and they told me I can get my deposit back. They’re not losing anything and still going to sell the car.

Finally, my dealer admitted I’m currently number one for allocation, so the last two months are a hole for me as they confirmed my build was submitted to the BMW factory the first week of June. And I’ve been wondering for two months where is my production number and in reality, I’m waiting for allocation still. Maybe I get lucky for August allocation if I’m next for this dealership for M3 Comp

I did pb exterior, fiona interior and red calipers! My last g80 was white, going for some pop this time around.

It is kylami, my calipers are red but for some reason aren’t displaying so we will wait and see. Dealer swore they are red lol.

When I bought my wife's Cayenne last year, well, first it took until December to get built. Then it sat at port for a month before getting on a ship. But you're right, the boat ride was the worst.....there was a winter cyclone in the North Atlantic and the ship spent 3 days circling around in the English Channel waiting for the weather to clear. That was excruciating. Watching it on MarineTraffic just make lazy loops in circles.
