Winter Tire and spacers question, specifically, are people running with their spacers in the winter? Especially those in legit winter weather with lots of snow and ice (I'm in Ottawa). This may just be conjecture, but I was told that using spacers in the winter can be a little tricky as snow/ice/salt can get in behind them, cause some rust and binding make it possibly more difficult to remove them in the future.
Any thoughts on this? Looking to get myself some spacers for Christmas and I'm just wondering if I'm better off buying them in the spring and installing then when I put the summers back on. Thanks! |

Yup 12/15, most spacers have notches under them just for this type of occasion so you can jam a screw driver in there and pry it up.
