Just had word from my dealer stating no signal Green coming to UK. Just 75 cars, 25 BG, 25 white, 25 black.

Apparently dealers were assigned the cars and they allocations were locked immediately. So no one really got a choice of colour unless they just happened get lucky with the car their dealer was assigned.

Someone please quote me wrong on this, by saying you got S Green so I can prove my dealer wrong 😁

Thanks I am week 39 and was frozen white. I wonder if Green and White ones are all built around that timeframe.

Got a while to decide if I want CCB’s.

Just don’t know if it’s worth the extra money when I only track once or twice yearly.

It's actually a better situation to have CCB's since you have almost no risk of burning trough them like I do doing 10 full track days per year. Almost no dust is a godsend with those wheel designs.

No no confirmed slot tbh.
he just said I can change my original BG
to green no probs. He’s gonna confirm everything tomorrow
So not 100% but he said it’s mine. So fingers crossed
£4300 for the green. Is it worth it ?

I wanted Green originally but told no Green coming to U.K. I like it and it’s a nice colour, just thought I’d get bored of it too easily, I wanted BG but my dealer said the builds are locked and they can’t change anything but the wheels and brakes. My build is locked to BS apparently.

Just 75 cars coming to us - 25 frozen white, 25 BG, 25 BS. This is what I’ve been told anyway!

Will be interesting to see what your dealers says to you tomorrow. Good luck.

I literally got mine two days ago… I was offered one up in Northampton. They just happened to have an unsold slot, I think someone backed out.

I might know someone who has a slot available, the dealer is down south. He said he can get me one yesterday but I told him I’m already tied in to someone else. I can pass you his details if you like. But im not sure if he’s actually got one, he just said his sales manager said BMW UK could be offering them a third slot, but not guaranteed. Worth a try if it doesn’t work out tomorrow, but hopefully it does!

A friend in the UK confirmed this to me today: UK builds are all locked (colors), no changes possible.

Hiding the stripes is the reason I chose BS.

You can do what BMW did with the BS M4 CSL: You can outline the stripes with a red margin. Looks pretty original. Also, the stripes are visible (BS is glossy, "stripes" aren't) but not that much.

Yes they are doing them in batches. Frozen Green and White are later in the year. It has nothing to do with time of order selection, as my order was literally placed 5 seconds after the email from BMWNA came asking for selections on an "anonymous" special edition M3 back in January.

I think you are right... many frozen whites are around Sept / Oct. What build week are you? Are you in 102 as well or did your status move to 111 yet?
