Btw, this M4 GTS weighed in with 53,2/46,8 https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1290242 And the E92 was also around 52/48 Sport Auto found the real life difference in curb weight between a E92 M3 DCT and F82 M4 DCT to be just 15kg btw... |

There is no direct way of knowing if a tire is a front or rear application, you need to research what is the vehicle application for the specific tire to find out.

i have 763M wheels 19" combo for M2 and use it on my M4. i used up 245 cup2 very quickly, moved the rear 265 to front and got 285 for the rear. I track 10 times a year, and now I got the new DT1 cup2 for front... so far i can't tell the difference on street, i may not track it then and find something else. or just get a normal black sidewall cup2 instead. hmm |

on tire rack you can't tell whether if it's for front or now. they have 6 different 265/35 19" tires, some are MO, some are BMW star, DT, DT1, etc. DT1 tread is a lot different than DT, it actually looks like it will do better job in the rain which cup2 is horrible for. and supposed to last longer...
for rear they have 20" 285/30 in DT1 240 rating but it is cup2 connect tire , I have normal 285 cup2 in the rear now |

I'm not saying that using the rear M2 PSC2 will not work in front of M3/4, what I am saying is that it is suboptimal. On my first M4, I, at some point, installed the rear 275 in front and it sure was not optimal and I certainly could feel the difference.

I think I've finally found a video of the 18/19 in action (Black M4 starting at 1:19). I'm contemplating whether to get the car with 18/19 or the 19/20. The streets of HK can be jarring and for a daily driver (only car) I'm still wondering if I want 19/20. On the other hand 18x9.5" with 275/40 tires and 19x10.5" with 285/35 tires does sound pretty awesome for a Stock wheel/tire combo
