I guess Genius wasn't correct. :-) I went online about an hour ago and Track My BMW flipped to In Transit. Then just got all from my dealer a few minutes ago and they said the car should arrive today!!!

Car is still showing at the port for me. Planning to call Genius before they close today for an update.

Genius said my M3 was released to the carrier and is on its way. Why it takes 7 days to get from CA to NM who knows. I was also told, it takes the dealer a day to get it ready for sale. Something to do with getting out of limp mode or something, washing it and filling it up.

Not going to get my hopes up too high for tomorrow but at least it SHOULD be sometime this week.

My friend IS the carrier and he’s able to go in to the shop and check on my car everyday to see the progress. He will be delivering my 430i to the dealer. He estimated tomorrow, but I’m not holding my breath. I told him to snap pictures of it loaded and ready for transport!! :-D

Still sitting at VPC. Was ready for carrier Friday 2/4. So frustrating. Initial eta had the car arriving today but looks like since it's still not on a truck, that won't be happening. Genius doesn't know when it'll make it out of there. I reached out to my CA.

I just want to see this beast already!!!

My CA confirmed that 2 M4s were loaded on a truck yesterday and they are on their way to Bellevue.

I was on Atlas Leader 10/6, it won't be long, now, guys. I was just like everyone, I couldn't wait to get my car, but I will tell you, for me, anyway, I miss the order process and waiting in anticipation for the car. It gives you a whole different appreciation, having ordered and waited for it.

I honestly wouldn't trade it for a car in the showroom. Obviously, no one wants to wait for their car to get here, but I think there is just a whole nother appreciation for it, when you order it. I actually found myself missing the process, when it was all over.

Good luck to the guys with Stop Sales, my car sat at Hueneme from 10/6 and left on 10/14. It was at the dealer, in Sacramento on 10/18.

For anyone waiting for Dravit, that hasn't seen it in person, you're not ready for how dynamic the colors are in this paint. It's amazing.

Thanks, Abdul. And you're welcome. Hang in there. The waiting stress will all go away, on delivery day. I've seen other people questions about their cars, and I ask myself, how could they possibly not know the answer to what they're asking? Well, its because they walked into the dealer to get an oil change on their X3 and walked out with a G80. I just have more of an appreciation having ordered, and waited. I blow through cars, I've had 31 cars in the 30 years I've had my license, and I've had everything from Corvettes to Type Rs, and this is by far the car that I've had the best connection with.

Does anybody know the work that the dealer does in order to prepare the car for customer delivery? How long would that take? Car is expected to reach Thursday. I wonder if I could pick up Friday or it is a next week thing at this point.

My buddy's car arrived at riverside last Friday. He picked it up the same night. So I'm assuming you can pick it up Friday 100%
