They removed the ambient lighting above the glovebox in favor of the lighting above center vents, but just seems to be lacking proper interior lighting now. BMW cost saving at work once again.

What has to be said, the white M4 on that background of white and blue looks fucking amazing, so kudos to the photographer who was able to photograph a white car on white background with contrast blue sky so well. This is like some lesson in photography.
Nothing to say about the face lift, its the same car with same face.

Is it actually iDrive 8.5? From the pictures it's missing the new HVAC controls introduced with iDrive 8.5 so it looks like iDrive 8.0. Or is the pictures used old ones?

Good job BMW, I like everything about the LCI refresh.

Didn’t read all the post, so someone might answered this already. But is it possible to get the new steering wheel for my 2024 M4xC (with driver assistant pro)?

Those center vents look really small and the controls strange.
The carbon trim isn’t directly above the vents either and it ends up having a strange dual trim look. (Unless it’s a configuator issue) I hope the vent redesign doesn’t impact airflow like the X7 LCI changes did…The interior lighting is different as well. Aside from the steering wheel I think the interior of the LCI is a bit of a step back unfortunately.

In the new M version of iDrive 8.5 if you press the CLIMATE MENU icon it takes you to the new iDrive 8.5 HVAC screen. So the external screen will now work like it always has in 8.0 (horizontally arranged widgets) but with the new 8.5 HVAC.

No need, BMW can mechanically fit x drive with a 6MT base, but they chose not to. They would certainly sell a lot of these (me included), especially for those in the snowbelt.
