Have you all thought of rubber floor mats etc yet? The carpet shows stuff really easily…been trying ti figure out what’s best but not sure if the mats people suggest are ok with manual transmission, it’s mostly those with autos who’ve posted about floor mats
i have a manual ordered and from what ive seen the floor mats work for either manual or auto without issues. im planning to get the regular rubber floor mats in the front and rubber floor liners in the rear. did your calipers not come with the clips from the factory?

I’ve got mats sitting in my garage waiting to go in the car with a pile of other parts.

That being said…..still at the port.

Rear brakes don’t have the M logo unfortunately. Seems to be common thing from reading the forum. I guess they cut to save money?

I’ve been agonizing over finding some. I’ve also just looked at BMWs website as they have some rubber mats, but I can’t tell if the price is for driver and passenger or what

I’ve had them before when I had my 2018 STI, I like them a lot. They look and feel premium. They are fairly rigid and the material on the bottom keeps them from sliding around. They almost feel like a hybrid mat, not quite rubber not quite fabric but easily hosed off if need be.

Here’s a few photos. They are darker in person than on the IND photos.

Another month of waiting...

It’s worth the wait guys!!

I’m planning my first wash of the car tomorrow! Got Dr Beasleys products. Couple nights ago I used their waterless wash and it did amazing, so far I recommend their products!

Week 2 build. Got the vin in late December, car was built in like one week, it shipped out from Bremerhaven like Jan 25 or something, arrived in the US on Feb 22, hasn’t moved from the US port.

So my dealership told me ETA of March 11, then they said 1-2 weeks to inspect the car and detail it….how does it take 1-2 weeks to inspect and detail a brand new car?

That does not make sense, maybe ask for it not detailed and give her a hand wash yourself?

My response to them was that I don’t need them to detail it as I’m going to do it myself and PPF it. We’ll see what they say.
My schedule is pretty tight after next weekend so if they are going to drag their feet they may end up sitting with that car on their lot for 2 additional weeks.

Updates……good and bad…

1. Added rear brake caliper red M from IND
2. Decided to just go with OEM BMW rubber mats….way better then carpet standard ones.
3. The unthinkable happed when I scratched the crap out of my right bumper pulling in my garage thankfully it’s mostly just the PPF but there’s a two in scratch in paint I’m trying to figure out what to do with it…
