Call bmw genius and find out what your production date is. It usually takes 2 days to fully build the car

I've been told by BMW Genius the car would be built between October 6th - 12th, and finished on the 14th. They said it is Build Week 41.

If they say the 14th, I’m 90% sure that’s when it will be finished by. So they might have started production on Week 41, it’ll most likely be completed on the 14th

Dispatched from factory later that morning around noon

Reached port today 10:10 around 11:00 a.m. pst

Just spoke to genius. My M is in fact at the Port but it could take 2 to 8 weeks to get onto a vessel. Has to go through customs . Once it's at the VPC I can call and get a ship name...

2 to 8 weeks? That's nuts. I know some people have had their car stuck at port for 3-4 weeks, but those are typically outliers.

Also.. doesn't it go directly from Factory -> Train -> Port -> Ship? VPC should be once it arrives in the states, no?

If your car is at the port, I'd find out which US Port it's gonna be delivered to, and then look at the schedule of ships that are going to be departing to that Port over the next month. You can check with Genius 2-3 days after each ship leaves and I bet you'll find your car on one of em sooner than later

I'm not sure they're 100% correct as well. But I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it and updating accordingly. So far they have not been accurate. I was hoping the app is a couple days behind and that it's been at the port the entire time.

No, I messed up because I assumed the door stills were orange like the seats like the pre LCI models. But I believe they changed it to black for the 2025 models. When I saw my bmw gallery, that’s when I realized but I couldn’t do anything at that point.

I changed it like a day before it hit status 150.Right now it's at VPC in NJ waiting for a dash cam installer for past 12 days

It is around $90k, I didn’t get the drivers assistance package cause I wanted the Alcantara steering wheel. What is the msrp on your build?
