I just put pair of rear wheels on the front and needed spacers to clear the strut. Ended up with 12mm front, 15mm rear. Had to trim the fender vents, but doesn't rub anywhere else. Stock ride height. |

Question for the group, I had Costco install new wheels/tires 20" square (285/30/20). A couple of weeks after, it looks like I may have a nail in one of the tires. Went back to Costco (a different, closer location) tire center and they refused to work on the car because the fronts don't match what's on the door sticker.
They said to go back to the other Costco that installed the tires and have them work on it. But, they called and let their manager know they made a mistake and should not have installed these. Anyone deal with this? Is there anywhere it's mentioned we can have 20" upfront? I also showed them the manual, but it says 285f / 295r and there just isn't a square configuration on there. They said it must match to the door sticker or the different configs in the manual for them to work on the car. Frustrating and thinking of going to Discount Tire (who I should have gone to in the first place) but I didn't want to lose the tire guarantee stuff from Costco.

BUT: if bmw makes perfomance wheels in 20/21 I don't see any advantage in going 19/20. 20/20 should be better Hedelweiss wheel producer wrote me that 21/21 is a no GO because the car is heavy in the front and 25 series tire has too small sidewall to rteer correctly bit if the car has 20 in front EOM Why not 20/20 |

I got interested in Edelweiss wheels recently too - they look really cool. The green M3 is IoMG with champagne Edelweiss? Do you have pictures of it too?

To your query, (mine also), skip to 3:04~ in attached video.
The explanation provided might be an over-engineered 'reason' than most owners driving style will require, but FWIW : Quote:
