Had a chance to drive it for the first time since updating. No noticeable changes, however I paid attention to burbles and didn't notice a significant difference there either. If there is, it's very slight.

Very strange but I completed my update to 11.2023 and ASD did not appear to get turned back on. I pushed the exhaust button and nothing changed. I grabbed my E-Net cable and confirmed ASD is still off. I also typically need to reset most settings but not this time. I wonder if the ASD activation only comes back when the dealer flashes an update? This exact same thing happened in my ‘22 X3MC when I did the update. When the dealer has done updates I’ve had to recode ASD.🤷‍♂️

Updated mine today, can't say I notice any volume change in exhaust or burbles. That's with a single mid and valve controller.

I have no idea if it requires still turning them off again but I did it anyway. |

For those of you who are saying burbles are softer after update - which version did you update from?
I took delivery of my 2024 M3Cx with 11/2023.30 in February and am wondering if any of you had updated from that to 11/2023.73 and noticed the burbles sounding muted. This is something that I definitely want to know because I'm considering exhaust upgrades now and if I should expect my burbles to get even more soft (they sound very soft to me now in Sport as-is, I have to look out for them though I'm still in break-in period so not pushing the car), that is something I'll need to consider when shopping my options.

I think this time it's a glitch with the delivery process, not something wrong with your car. |

I got the car in May of 23. Got an update in November of 23, and then another one in March of 24. Smooth as it can be, zero issues here. |

I lost all the connected features after this update for some reason (status of the car in the app doesn't update, none of the app features work, weather app on the car is broken, can't check for in-car app updates because the option is grayed out). Tried restarting the headunit several times but it still doesn't work. Anything else I can try before I reset the whole car?

There’s a reset option in system settings which presumably restores all settings back to factory so you can re-do the initial setup. Not sure if it will help so I haven’t tried. Worst case I’ll just wait for my next service in about a month and have them figure it out

My update got installed today. My M1 and M2s settings are preserved. My coding was also preserved.

One positive improvement I've noticed is Android Auto / Carplay connect and start up much quicker now. That's about the only change I've noticed with this update.

I have the stock exhaust system with the valve controller. Perhaps it's harder to notice with a midpipe, the burbles I mean. The difference is really not night and day. It's pretty slight but still noticeable.

Just updated mine and I had to go into bimmercode and restore all my settings. Weird how some people didn’t have to do that.

I echo what some have said, the burbles seem less pronounced . Exhaust volume a bit lower as well.
But then again, I'm stock everything, ASD on, no valve ctlr . So not sure how much is real vs fake noise
