we have some consistency the figures look like the car. First year. Year 2-3 will have more incentives and hopefully the aftermarket will have solutions by then.

In Ireland an M4 is around $150k new. So you'd be doing very well if you realise half of after driving it for three years. |

Dang, these lease numbers are insane.
I can't imagine paying $1300 a month to rent an M3. It just doesn't make any sense. My mom is leasing a new 2020 Volvo XC60. The MSRP was $51K I believe (great car BTW). Her monthly payments are $440 and she put down $1500. Hell, you could simply buy a $83K car, with 1.99% at 72 months, you're looking at $1,282.31. And that is with $0 trade in and $0 down.

You realize this is typically how the lease numbers look when these things are brand new, right?

You will be upside down before you can start the car but it's a much better price. The select programs on the launches are always good and then they go down. The X3M started out around 32% of MSRP, now it's like 16%. That percentage is the balloon payment at the end. |

So I finally heard back from my regular rep. The previous quote was based on me calling a BMW dealer, not my dealer that I usually deal with, and he quoted me $1200 with no money down.

I was in this dilema with the e92 lci, I did the select loan and at the end the pay off was $34k, my interest was 0.9 for 36. I sold the car for $46k after 40 months. You gotta play with the different options and see what works best, but those initial numbers aren't the best

Yet another reason not to get one - these are going to go for absurd discounts before the end of the year, I would be hesitant to lock in a 3 year deal at those numbers when people will be paying 200-300 beneath that within or after that first year.

Not before this year but in another year or two, similar to the M340.

Leasing is great if you can get your monthly payment super low, to rent your car. But man, paying quadruple digit figures every month is nuts.

Check out the amortization schedule here and compare it to where you'd be in 3 years with lease payments. If I go with an 80k car and put zero down with the 1.9% BMW loan rate, the payments are obviously higher, but I'm down to $33k at the end of 3 years and I'm sure the car will be worth more than that at that point. I'm making about 15k selling my current M4 from a similar situation. You shouldn't put anything down on a lease, but obviously if you can put something down on a loan you'll be even more ahead of the game. I always lease, but this has me reconsidering it.

A lot of the time if you get a great price on a lease off the msrp it's the better option
My F80 was 79$k msrp and I got it for $70500 It was a 2018 and I got it april 2019 as my second M3 replacement hence the low selling price as it sat for 10 months It was 61% residual so buyout at lease end was $48k It had $500 bmwcca and $1k loyalty Making my total price $69k My out of pocket is 21k for 3 yrs not counting tax and interest You'd be hard pressed to find 583$/month for an $79k car with any amount of financing for purchase Like anything that's new the G80 will be expensive Just wait untill the market stabilize and these should be lease able in the $750-800/month with zero down soon enough |

So, 889 * 35 + 6000 = 37,115 divided by 30k miles is $1.23 per mile. |
