3M crystalline 20% all around for my Dravit grey G80

I’m planing on putting 15% all around. I’ve had 20% before and I didn’t like it.

Did the same thing. 20% was too light and 5% is too dark. 15 or 10 is perfect. Whatever you can your hands on!

I think 10 on the back and 15 on the sides will look awesome. I had it on the Audi. Not a fan of tinting the front windshield.

Whats the concern with tinting the front? How can they mess up the foam?

Thanks. Im setting up my appt and have been on the fence about 50 vs 70. Thought 50 might be too dark at night when not on lit roads.

Sure did. Went with 50 on the front. No issues at all at night. It's a good choice.

Anyone that uses a rear dash cam have issues with tiny impeding the image, esp at night? Heard anything darker than 20% on the rear and you can’t see anything in the night footage.

I did 15% on the sides and 50% on the front. I'll post pics once I get it back from getting the PPF.

No issues at night with the 50% on the windshield, but then I've been doing 50% on the windshield for years. I would have done 5% everywhere else like I have on my truck, but using the side mirrors to guide you in reverse is a no-go at night. 15% is manageable.

Anyone have 50s or 70s on their windows? I’m in a predicament because everyone (including myself) love how the bucket seats look and if I tint the windows too dark, then you can’t really see into the car. I do like how my car looks without the tints but at the same time, I want to be able to protect the seats and myself from UVs and the heat.

Thoughts??!?!?!?

Tint's would actually be correct if used in plural. For example, if you had multiple shades you could ask "what percentages are your tint's"?

You might say "50% up front and 30% in the back"

Or, in the op's case, he could be asking multiple people the same question.

I’m leaning towards 50

You can go 50s and still see inside the car, unless you have black seats. Even then, you'd probably have to also tint the windshield to affect that.

70s are likely only worth it if you're doing it for the IR/UV protection. The tint is imperceptible otherwise.

Any ceramic tint is worth it but 70% is very obviously noticeable vs no tint. I would argue 70 to 50 isn't as noticeable as none to 70.
