Not my order but a friends (I'm a BMW Genius at a dealer so I've been tracking it for him). Built 4/12, at the port 5/6, just got on the Morning Lena in Zeebrugge on the 25th. Showing in transit for the first time this morning. ETA to NYCPOA July 5.

I suspect more cars than just his were picked up in Zeebrugge, so expect to see a few of you flip to in transit!

P.S. his car went from at the port to in transit then back to at the port within the span of a few days a few weeks back. That was his car moving from Bremerhaven to Zeebrugge. If that happens to you, it means you moved to another port (EDIT: or from Krefeld to a port, either Bremerhaven or Zeebrugge).

I’ve been at the port waiting to catch a ship to NY since 5/10 and just flipped to in transit as well! Calling to confirm!

The thing is I don't really know where my car is lol. I went into transit for a couple days, 2 weeks back. And then I call Genius they say it just says "port of exit"

See my post above. If you went from 193 to in transit then back to 193, it means your car was relocated to another port (EDIT: or from Krefeld to a port, either Bremerhaven or Zeebrugge). Unfortunately after that happens, it doesn't say which port your car was relocated to on the BMW side tracking software. That said, tell your CA to ask the sales manager what port the car is at. They can get in touch with the people at BMWNA who can figure out what port it's at. If they tell you they can't figure that out, they're either being lazy and don't feel like writing the email, or they're stupid

Krefeld isn't a port so being there wouldn't show a status 193, it would be 181. So 181->193 would be going from Krefeld to a port. 193->transit->193, which is what happened to my buddies car and it seems some others, almost always means going from one port to another. I say almost always only because I'm sure there are some weird situations where 193-> in transit -> 193 would happen under other circumstances, but those would be rare exceptions.

Would the myGarage tracker say "at the port" while in status 181? I think G82Anxious had his say "at the port" meanwhile his car was at Krefeld. He was able to confirm this because he got his GPS activated to allow him to track the exact location of the car

Lucky - I was hoping that was going to be me as last week I switched to in transit and then back to the port within 48 hours. Mygarage still shows I'm at the port...

I guess it would actually now that I look... so 193 could be either Krefeld, Bremerhaven, or Zeebrugge. So I suppose I should add this addendum to my most recent post 193->in transit-> 193 means going from one port to another OR going from Krefeld to a port. My mistake... didn't realize that Krefeld fell under 193 status (aka at the port) rather than 181.

Yeah so now the issue is I don't know if I went from Krefeld to Bremerhaven/Zeebrugge, or from Bremerhaven to Zeebrugge.

Right... that's frustrating. I don't know why BMW doesn't tell us which port it's at unless it's the original port that it reach from factory. For ex. the car I've been tracking was dispatched from AG to Bremerhaven, and it said that it was at Bremerhaven. Then it went to in transit briefly back to at the port, but didn't say which port it was at after that, whereas it did before...

I went from at the port to in transit for 2 days then back to port.
Would everyone switch to in transit at the same time if picked up in Zeebrugge or does it change randomly throughout the day.

My car from Krefeld to Bremerhaven was in transit for 4 days. Was probably the longest 4 days of my life. The worse part is you don't know if it's on a ship or just being moved around. At one point a genius member told me it was on a ship because she checked another system to confirm…but status 195 could mean anything these days!

Car was always "193" while at Krefeld. Confirmed by Genius/Multiple CA/General Manager.

Crossing my fingers this is what happened for me. I switched to in-transit Monday last week, and then back to "at port" on Wednesday.

Still "at port" this morning.
