What type of shipping did you choose? FedEx or DHL?

if it's dhl im not sure but should be a similar process, the also have a dedicated # for customs clearance that you need to find, in either case if you call the main customer service line they are generally useless. |

also if you communicate with your assigned agent like i recommended above, you can ask them to validate your documents. you might as well, because whether you communicate with them directly or not, fedex is going to be billing you for the agent service. |

Connected with Szab today also, guy is responsive and ships fast! Amazing - I'll be getting this from Germany before other local vendors even respond to my email for an eta. I think Chris is referring to the trade network agent at FedEx.

Has anyone successfully retrofitted the Alcantara LCI steering wheel to a pre-LCI car with DAP? I have all the necessary parts, but I can’t get it to work. I’ve double-checked all the wiring and components multiple times. The BDC keeps reporting an issue with the HOD sensor and isn’t receiving any signal from it. Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: I checked the configurator on the German website and DAP will remove the Alcantara steering wheel for some reason. Last edited by franznorbert; 10-08-2024 at 04:09 AM.. |

if option 70A is added to the VO, on LCI car there is 1 change in the car's coding, not sure if this will make any difference but you can try it - |

Hey guys I'm completely new to this, I just got a 2024 G80 M3. Looking to swap my steering wheel for the new LCI one. I have carbon fibre trim and heating with no ACC. What would be the part number I'd be looking for?
Sorry for being so noob lol. |

To clarify, what exactly needs to be replaced and what can be re-used when retrofitting to the lci wheel? |

Wheel Front Trim Top cover Lower vibration motor cover Vibration motor Wire assembly Reuse/Transfer: Left/Right button clusters M1/M2 buttons Horn plate Airbag This was my experience for non-heated, non-DAP equipped. I was surprised my original wheel had vibro motor since I don’t have DAP and have never felt it do anything.

Anyone know if the MT steering wheels use the same p#’s as the auto wheels? I see on my steering wheel there’s no where to install paddles. Wasn’t sure if the lci wheels came with covers where th paddles would go?

Wheels are the same and covers are a separate item. Your paddle covers should transfer over but don't know for sure.

All these replica wheels may require a new servo, cover and custom (longer) harness (if OEM equipped), and a new main harness chassis (the plastic frame where the wheel harness is attached to), everything else can be transferred from OEM wheel to this, without the need of coding. Some vendors include everything required, some vendors do not - you have to ask before ordering. Mine came with the servo cover, but no servo and no chassis.
