Agree! This looks good. Now I'm conflicted.
My plan was painted engine cover (TR) and powder coat the CSL brace Gold to match the calipers.
There is no silver on the car so a silver brace is out of place.
But painted CSL with a Carbon cover looks really good too.
I'm surprised nobody has painted the black fill panel body color. I am.

Just so you know, it's powder coated not painted. According to forum advice, and the shop minuses, painting is not the better option for it. Means color will never match perfect. Instead of having slightly different blues, i went blue with cf.

If you do anything to a car, besides put gas in it, and drive it, it voids the warranty. BMW doesn’t even want you putting anything except their 5 tire choices on the car.

With that being said, in the US, since the 1970s, we’ve had the Magnuson Moss warranty act. It still applies.

Now Limegrntaln we both know that you're probably closer to $6k under the hood but it's a pretty 6k.
Im in the same boat. I bought this car knowing I was going to mod it a good bit and even had most of it before the car. If I was just going to keep the car as is or only lightly mod, I would have probably looked at the 911's with a bit more interest

You and I, both. It would have been much smarter to just get a 991.2 GT3. I actually enjoy the look of the GT3 over the RS.

White support would look good.
If you have money to burn the Titanium Downstar kit with your intake would be the cherry on top.

Until you see it personally and hear it, drive with it everyday then you understand. It has the best of both worlds : appearance and performance.

It is no brainer and would be the first mod I do if I get the same car again.

A lot of guys bought the side vents or front lip @2k just for the look

Thanks man. Love the red in the engine and the red calipers, added the red Viper yesterday after her bath to make it a little more mine…that’s a good catch!

I haven’t heard/said “JFS start 2” in years, not too many people I hang around with these days even know what a JFS is.
