Chalk looks so good. Makes me even more excited for my ‘24 chalk M3. I like the taillights and steering wheel updates but not the headlights.

Think the flat bottom will be a great addition.
I think the heated steering wheel function is in iD8.5 vs on the wheel.

I meant in the MY2025 from July 2024, it would be odd to leave 4 door version without some version of laser taillight as on 4 series/ m4.

That’s the LCI, and no, it wouldn’t be odd, the 3 Series/M3 always has different taillights. You can see that by looking at M3 CS, it has regular 3 Series taillights.

I'm probably in the minority but I prefer the round steering wheel. Flat bottom wheels are a silly gimmick.

The 3 series has already had its LCI. Tail lights did not change. BMW is not going to make a separate set of tail lights just for the M3.

Why can’t the X5 get that sick ass steering wheel?

Yes that was the first refresh , second mild refresh for G20(G80) is coming for MY2025 models and i am not sure what it will include(some revisions of engines, different colors, interior trims) and if they will touch tailights.

Anyone notice the interior shots of the convertible are running ID8. Guess some from marketing missed one.

I don’t forsee the LCI individual launch colors being the full Manufackor price of $4,500, probably the $1,950 P1 individual colors are now.

The interior shots of everything seem to be running a strange mix of iD8 and 8.5

It has the "CLIMATE MENU" shortcut (and none of the other shortcuts) from iD8, but it has the temp-menu seat heating and cooling from 8.5.

Seems quite strange tbh. No idea why they'd do this.

Me too honestly, especially after seeing that the heated steering wheel feature has to be accessed via iDrive versus a physical button on the wheel. Overall, I like the current version over the LCI.

I would normally agree but with the carbon buckets I’ve actually scratched the bottom of my steering wheel a couple times getting in. Real benefit with a flat bottom here imo. Will take one in leather, please

Are the tails the exact same as the CSL? That post from BMW with the color names said they are “CSL inspired” which is kind of vague

If the G80 doesn’t get the laser taillights they better not increase the price by the same $2k.

I will be ordering the leather non-heated steering wheel for my '23 M3 and doing a FEMTO unlock.

This will give me everything I need from LCI while keeping my laserlights.
