I think that is kool that the window moves down when the door opens and moves up when it is closed to seat the window to the seal.

No, sold that at the end of August and ordered a new X5 M60i. Finally picked it up last Friday.

I haven't even begun to scratch the surface on the voice commands. I didn't even know you could do that. Is there a list of voice commands somewhere? I don't have back windows, but I'd love to do this with the fronts.

That's for the M4 only since we don't have upper door frames FYI.

I definitely like this one. I regularly use “Hey BMW, roll the windows down 1/4 of the way, half way down or all the way down”. As you said, this way they are all even. The small things… 😄

I like how the front headrests will lower at vehicle departure so they meet the seat, then raise when you get in the car to the previously chosen level. Makes the seats look better when the car is off.

I taught my car to respond to "Hey M3".
She responds with "hey nice to see you". Then I say " Let's go home". And she says " Perfect, it will be nice to be home". I'm not sure how my car identifies, or which pronouns it prefers. The voice is very soft and feminine, but the behavior seems more butch. |

BMW glass on G82 goes down during the door opened / closed so there is a bit of struggle there with the frame, especially when door opened a little fast. |

Noticed the other day when I had my hazards on and locked the car, the mirrors didn’t fold (which would have reduced the visibility of the repeaters), neat.

Not even a hidden feature or anything, but honestly i love how Auto Start/Stop stays off always if i turn it off, in every mode.
If i had to choose something quirky, honestly though it would have to be the way ID 8.5 is laid out. Just a good refreshing UI imo. |

It’s not a favorite but it is quirky…
When AutoStart shuts off the engine (mine is disabled) if you turn the steering wheel some the car starts right back up. I think it’s a hidden safety feature to start the engine if it thinks you might need to dodge around something. And on the 2-door models with no window frames, if your battery ever dies or you have a need to disconnect the battery and shut the door with windows up…you’d better push the top of the glass inside the frame as you close it. On my F82 once I was wrenching and had to close the door for a rainstorm and the glass bent outside the door! (Ouch!!!).

The way the front headrests whir and rise to their last setting each time the front doors are opened.
