Cool!. That dealership gave me a hard time. Told me an allocation would be a year +. Hope you got yours pretty quick. So are you driving it back to TX?

Mine is at Autohaus. They got me a spot within a couple of months of asking. Brooklyn Grey, 6MT, black wheels, all black full leather interior.

Maybe I'll see yours on the truck when I go try to catch mine being off loaded the day before.

I called a LOT of dealers and this one called me back about a week later with a ready-to-go allocation. I started the process mid Jan and they gave me an allocation early Feb. I think it is mostly about timing of the call to the dealers.

still anchored off New Brunswick as of 8:48AM EDT. I wonder what's
keeping them from docking at berth CI02 this morning.

not sure if this current weather report has anything to do with it:

High Surf Advisory: large breaking waves of 5 to 7 feet
High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents

I'm actually on the next-next ship to arrive next week(the Donington),
but I'm also following the Hawaiian Highway just to see how long it
take for them to dock at New Brunswick.

I’m wondering too what the holdup is, maybe it’s waiting for an available spot to open up. Brunswick isn’t really a big port compared to the other ones. I’m hoping there just waiting for a ship to unload and move so that they can get in there today.

Just our luck. I am 3.5 hours away from the port. Wish I could just drive up and take it from the VPC 😂

the roro ship berths that BMW and Mercedes use are actually in the Brunswick River... those are berths CI01, CI02 and CI03... and the conditions have not been good in the last 24 hours. (flooding, rough waves, etc)

just noticed that the arrival time of the Hawaiian Highway has been updated to 7:00AM 4/12(tomorrow) listed on the port's website... but who knows, maybe it will get in today?

Oh wow really tomorrow, well that’s probably the reason then (the weather). If there website says that then most likely it will be tomorrow. Thanks for the update.

the pilot is just minutes away from meeting the Hawaiian Highway to guide it into berth 2.

the two tugboats have just finished with pushing Grand Dahlia into berth 3.(most likely carrying a boatload of new Volvos?) their next assignment is to push Hawaiian Highway, hopefully by sundown.

Wow, I'm also in Houston. Woodlands gave me one right away, but I went with BMW of Temple. They had one available the day I called. Surprised you went that far.

It is probably a timing of the call issue. I started calling way late in the allocation cycle process. Maybe if I started calling a week later I would’ve found a dealer closer.

And obviously, had to be at MSRP - no more.

Understood, I called around the 3rd week of March. I’m a week 19 build. Only place I know of upcharging is Houston North. They want 20k on top. SMH
