Getting close i cant wait. I just ordered my charger, spoke to the electrician and he said it will be a simple install. I am going to try to lock in an interest before the fed bumps it again.

Make sure to keep all charger installation and material receipts for 30% tax credit. It is not much but I rather donate it to my charity😬.
Also check your state laws. My electric company pays me back $40 annually if I install an approved wifi charger. Again not much but it is the exact model that I’m going to purchase anyways. I’m going to install my charger in a month since we are in a middle of bathroom renovation project but it will be definitely in 2022 so I can use the tax credit. |

Full front PPF is going to be quite expensive though and all quotes that I'm receiving for XPEL are around the same number. |

I am hearing around 2k for xpel. I also plan to completely black out the grill and they will wrap some of it first. Should be 100 or 200 more. I take a highway twice a day that leads into a port and a highway that connects east and west FL. For me it's a must, after a few years chips are everywhere.

Just an update -- HH is now showing 11/1 as its arrival into Baltimore. My free trial with MarineTraffic is going to expire before it even gets close t the Chesapeake Bay... suppose I'll just make a second account
I guess slow and steady wins the race?? |

I'll take that with a grain of salt. If you go back to the old HH thread around the same time you see a lot of incorrect ETAs flying around. The trip is 10 days so unless there is a mechanical failure or hurricane it should take 10 days from departure. Maybe 11 but not 15.

Fleet Mon still shows an ETA of October 31 which was updated a couple of minutes ago. Keeping my fingers crossed. |

Hawaiian highway distance to Baltimore is around 1581 NM. If its speed remains at 17 KN as it is right now it will take 3.875 days to get to Baltimore. Add a couple of hours or more for lower-speed sailing at the Chesapeake bay and October 31 at midnight is still likely.
I'm using the Fleetmon website for the HH location. It would be awesome if anyone has a free trial from marine traffic and can confirm the current speed and distance from the port. I called my credit union to finalize my car loan today. As soon as I told them that my car is still on the ship the conversation took a turn. Basically, I was told that unless the car is on the land and safe and sound they will not write a check as a lot of things can happen between now and then! Hopefully, my BMW comes in one piece. Hopefully you mean October 31st. By the way I really appreciate your maps.
Good call on the loan I locked in a rate before the fed raises them again next week. |

My rate has been locked since three weeks ago. I’m getting a 3.4% for 60 months. I could’ve received a 3.1% from another credit union but Their revirws were horrible. If you haven’t finalized your loan yet I advise you to shop around. You will be surprised with the range of rates offered😏 |

Just checked MarineTraffic.... ETA: 11/1 12:30AM Distance to Go: 1,443 NM Current Speed: 16.5kn Looks like HH will finally get some tailwinds mid-day tomorrow, so perhaps that will help. 10/31 is a stretch at this point given the congestion and slower speed to get through Chesapeake Bay. Baltimore isn't even my stop. I still have to wait for drop-off in Brunswick. Today is the last day of my free-trial, though FWIW, the dealership said my car has an estimated arrival at VPC in Brunswick for 11/5. I was in-person (service on the X5) and saw it in the system myself |

677 NM to go. If HH holds a 17.2 KN speed which is unlikely for the last 135 NM of the trip (Chesapeak bay) it will take another 39 hours or 1 AM November 1st. But a couple of hours of delay doesn't impact the unloading schedule at all. I don't think they start unloading at midnight anyways Last edited by Vocian; 10-30-2022 at 07:19 AM.. |
