That relationship with Toyota needs to end. I'm disappointed with Flasch, he did amazing work with the 8, but not so much here.

Jesus, the grills look even bigger than on the G22.

They look like two giant holes in the front of the car like something else is suppose to go there.

the bottom /--\ flair looks like the q60. it seems like BMW can't integrate the lines anymore. everything seems so out of place and not seamless.

The front actually looks pretty good. Better than m440i imo. They need to make those "vents" on the hood functional or just get rid of them

Thanks for sharing! The front looks like a giant black hole, as the hood matches up to the leaked sheet metal part a few months back. The front belongs on an American muscle car, lacking the M aggressive lines. Best exterior might be black to hide the honeycomb front. Alpine white will look like the Death Star.

I do like that the top of the grill is more flat across vs the other 4 series. If you just blacked our the center bar, it would basically look like an Audi grill.

Honestly at this point I commend BMW's designers having the balls to actually bring this to real life.

It's ugly and ostentatious but getting approval from so many reviews and studies to actually get to this "yes let's do THIS" stage, it's gotta be tough.

Agree. Getting past the committee must have been something.

You can't polish a turd, or in this case the ugly piece of shit that the G22 is.

I believe the current designers just lack creativity and their superiors rubber-stamp whatever they bring to the table.

That's the only logical reason I could see something like this begin greenlit for production..

What a shame, the F80/82/83 was so sexy - the end of an era..

Once again, "The Simpson" predicted it

Get outta here this can't be real. Are those the aggressive fender flares, WTH? The rear and front wheels don't like anything like previous M, those flares are weird like they aren't smooth at all but maybe it's the lighting. So much bumper material on the lower sides, I liked it more when that was a big open cooling space that meant business. This doesn't look to have enough cooling to last a day at the track. I'm lost and confused ...

Why does this year keep getting worse and worse...

But for real, if there's this much of a backlash, someone will design an aftermarket bumper to fix the front.

I can't believe I'm saying this but the G80/G82 front looks *worse* than the G22 front - it's like putting lipstick on a pig.

I am super happy and fortunate that I bought my F82 M4 last year.

Is this the coupe or the sedan? I really don't mind the front though I prefer my previous F80 asthetics wise.

The grills aren’t even symmetrical with the sensor in the bottom right! Looks awful!

Again, I'm shocked at how surprised some members are acting. We saw this bumper months ago.

It's possible, my friend had a shop Frankenstein a 1M/335i bumper for his car..

With the right demand, anything is possible, I guess..
