A US dealer said he got a memo stating that the Munich plant is going to shut down week 50,51 and 52

Just got off the phone with Genius. They said my car is scheduled to be completed by December 10th.

So I did exactly what another member on here did. I was bumped from week 48 to week 1 and read a member here added an option for full leather because he got bumped. Then the car went into production right after. I just had my SA add parking assist, and now I went from status 111 to 112 again with production week 49. 😂 Maybe a fluke, but I'm glad I'm back on schedule 😁

As you may remember, I was in the same boat (wk 48 to 1). I went into my garage this afternoon and noticed I was 112. I called the genius and he said I was now wk 49. I didn’t change anything. Until I go 150 I don’t believe it’s real. Fingers crossed though

Yeah, but I originally wanted park assist but didn't add it since I already had my order in thinking it would delay my build. So now adding it makes it better for me plus the possibility of getting pushed forward.

Bumped up (after being pushed back) after adding something you wanted isn’t a bad deal! This process is so unpredictable. I started wk 46, if I end up actually being produced in wk 49 I’ll be happy. Perhaps that’s the desired reaction

My car hit 150 today but I have to cancel the order.

On 10.24 my dealer submitted my final spec updates for this week49 allocation, but BMW never processed it, my dealer tried several times to reach out but only heard back last week, they said they will talk to individual team to make the change but today it just went into production with the old spec.
That spec is completely different from mine so I won't pay for it.
Right now they offer me a week5 allocation, but adding 2 months wait is frustrating especially during parts shortage.
I won't blame my dealer since they already did what they could do, BMW should definitely be responsible for this incident and give us a better solution.

Just received this from my SA, individual FDG order now confirmed 150. Seems I'm the exception but I just wanted to drop this info for everyone. Fingers crossed.

Still stuck on 112. I’m anticipating getting booted back as well. Seems like most people flip to 150 and get a vin a week or more before it enters paint/assembly line.

Just got off the phone with genius and bumped to week 1. Hopefully it stays there. This is probably the 4th or 5th time I've been bumped.
