Where can I find 2020MY F82 lease rates? I'm looking into leasing a M4 CS. At BMW of San Antonio, they still have 8-10 in stock.

My lease was up on the first F80, I was 30k over the miles and couldn't buy out the lease without being seriously upside down on the car, and the F80 was out of production 7 months. I got a ridiculous deal on the CS but after 5 days I regretted it lol.

For reference, I was 37 when I got the CS, and I had never owned an automatic transmission or any car with less than 3 pedals.

Yeah, that's a bit nuts. I was going for M3, but jumped on a new m550i build loaded out (90s price tag). With MSDs, discounts and base MF, I'm looking at less than 750/mo.

I still want a M3, but am hoping to bite next time around. Excited for all of you going for it though.

Exactly! There are much better options for such a payment other than M3/4.

I built the car sparing no expense, knowing I would be paying out the a** for it, but this is about $150-$200 more a month than I was expecting.
U could get a 125-130k nicely hooked up LCI M5 with your individual color option for that price !

So the M5 does literally nothing for me. First of all, I've tracked them and it's like driving a boat. Secondly, it's the least aggressive-looking M car in the line up. Third, it way too heavy (although the base G80 in 6MT is a fat pig I am assuming I can get the thing around a track easier than the M5). Lastly, and most importantly for me as a consumer, it doesn't come in 6MT.

I'm among the minority who thinks the G80 is one of the best looking cars BMW has ever made and I can't wait to look back at it after parking it. I can also afford an M8 comp. I want the G80, for looks and most importantly 6MT,

We've all been there on buying the wrong car! Hope you love your new one.

It makes sense that the first ever G series chassis ///M car is not cheap at its release.

This is the sixth G generation M vehicle, and the third/fourth car.

The fact that the M5, M8, X3 M, X4 M, X5 M, and X6 M use F9x codes is an arbitrary technicality. They and the new M3/M4 all employ the same highly flexible CLAR vehicle architecture. And the series vehicles on which they are based all use GXx codes.

Furthermore, the M3 and M4 are the least expensive M vehicles yet this generation. Only the upcoming MY2023 G87 M2 will have a lower starting MSRP.

I view the low rates as bmw cashing in on the early adopters. This is actually good for normal consumers who were going to wait anyway.
Usually the dealers get to keep all the ripoff of the "gotta have it crowd" in the form of ADM and MSRP sales, this should force dealer pricing to normalize faster and inevitably these rates will line up with the standard model counterparts as they always do a bit after launch.
And at what point does that first month gotta have it pricing wear off?

Give it 6 mos. and the residual will get better. I have a feeling these aren't going to be all that popular in the beginning except for the got to have it now crowd.

I see from everyone's comments that the numbers are not good at all.
Can someone help me understand what would have been better numbers?

A higher residual by 4% would have made a difference. That would have saved ~ $100/month on a lease.

Except the residual difference is 2% between the launch F8x and the G8x....

and you are not including money factors....(interest rates for everyone else.)

So...

I'm not complaining....I'm explaining to the gentleman above, who is perhaps new to leasing, what "would have made it better" or perhaps what would have made leasing a G80 more on par with an F80.

The money factor on my 2016 lease was .00135 so I'm very aware of how they have changed.

So...

This would make sense if Dealers were stuck with allocations which many are not.

Personally I don't, seeing as a lot of options come standard. There's literally only 2-3 packages you can choose.

Any speculation on the G80 Comp AWD residuals? Wondering if they'll start at this level or be more in line with the RWD programs around next fall. Going to be rough going from the unicorn $599 F80 Comp lease I have now to these numbers...

What happened to frozen black? Saw it as a possibility in I believe the Australian BMW configurator. Does the US not get that option?

Like the Fiona Red interior? Any idea if Fiona Red will be available on the G83 at launch in July? I really want Dravit on Fiona. Plan on ordering the G83 as soon as I can get a production slot.
