Typically the LCI's can really improve from original release and everyone usually wants the newer models due to HP increases, better handling etc etc. They would call it a competition model per say. Well we already have that so....
We'll obviously have to wait for the official release but at this point I'm not sure what would make you want to run right out and get the LCI unless you wanted the new screen?

It’s not like there is another car like it take or leave the styling. That being said… there is very little difference here, splitting hairs. I think the G80 looks great. |

Yea.
It’s just this. I’m well over the grill. Couldn’t care in the least anymore, and neither does anyone else except about 7 or 8 people on this forum. What’s done is done. Car looks good from a lot of angles and although the front is not how I would have designed it, I also don’t give a shit anymore. |

A good example of don't fix what's not broken.
Not a fan of the new DRL's but whatever. They look fine. |

When half dozen after market companies design multiple iterations of the OEM grill trying to make it look better I think that says something. And it ain’t good.

Why? I can find a hundred body kits for cars like a MK 4 Supra, NSX etc.

Interesting…diffuser looks more rectangular than pre LCI. Looks less aggressive in rear and 3/4 view. Always a matter of personal taste. I was concerned about a major facelift to the front fascia. Honestly, I love the big mouth on my 2022 G80 x drive comp. Beast of a vehicle!

so pretty much as expected (aside from the non availability of laser lights which is a bummer). not sure why anyone would have an expectation of an entire front end redesign for an LCI?

That's literally the definition of retrofit. Remove and replace with new. I have yet to see one Adro bumper in the wild. And not many here. So. |

Here come all the grille haters.
We get it you don’t like it. Cool story. I’m not the hugest fan either. But I am buying one despite it. Why? Because no car is perfect. And if the less than beautiful nose is the only thing you. An come up with, well, BMW is winning. Doesn’t seem to be hurting sales either. So go ahead and call it ugly. BMW DGAF. Because they don’t LIKE it and want it changed. You know. Why shouldn’t BMW listen to them? |

From what I can appreciate, it’s what I expected from an LCI.
The headlight changes are subtle - I don’t mind them though. The lower air inlets almost mimic what the current exterior carbon fiber package does for the current MY. I like that a lot honesty, but doesn’t radically change the look. All in all, it’s a subtle evolution and I think it’ll deliver in the looks department, and not step on the toes of current pre-LCI owners. |
