So it's been couple days since DGH has unloaded and our cars been at the port. Think we'll see some movement soon? Maybe some cars get released to dealers today or is that too soon?

I just assumed they didn't work over the weekends but maybe they do? If not, it sounds like 2-3 days to have port installed accessories put on and then can be random waiting on carrier. Some happen at the 3 day mark after unloading from the boat and others can take a week. If we're lucky, our cars will reach the dealership before the weekend but seems like the next weekend is more likely (at least that's what I'm telling myself so I don't get my hopes up).

It would suck to have it get to the dealership on Friday and then them taking a couple days to do the prep work.

if your status has changed to at port go ahead and call Genius they can give you a estimate of when it will be through vpc and also when you should expect it at the dealer

Dreddy said his carbon fiber interior trim was. I have that an the exterior cf, and have heard that is definitely a port installed option. I believe you can check with Genius and they should let you know, at least that's how Dreddy found out about the CF interior trim being one.

Yeah I have both carbon fiber options. Dang it that sucks. Was hoping to get the car by the end of this week. Oh well. I'll try calling genius. Thanks Burtmacklinfbi 😂.

Just called and mine is still going through VPC and no carrier assigned yet. He told me typically 3 weeks until it reaches the dealership but I know that's not true unless you have some bad luck haha. He did say there's a "computer generated" ETA of reaching the dealership on the 21st but that's if everything goes perfectly.

Update: I was just told by my sales agent that my car has been released to the carrier (transport vehicle) and he will call me when it leaves from Galveston.

Contact y'all's sales agent. They might have gotten an update.

Nice, thx for the update. If mine doesn't switch to in transit in the next couple of days I'll reach out. I wonder if we're on the same carrier since Temple is along the way to DFW or if they group up carriers per dealership. Kind of chaotic still with distributions

Anyone from the recent drop at Galveston get on a carrier yet?

I called Monday and they said it was assigned a carrier supposed to leave today sometime and be in dallas tomorrow(Friday). I will likely call tomorrow if i dnt see anything online @ "mybmw".

I know others had earlier timelines for yesterday and today..is that still holding true? If so post em when you get em?

Someone here in Houston spotted a truck and trailer with M3/4s on it on the beltway. No idea where they are headed. Hopefully it is for you guys up there.

Damn sorry to hear that. Where's your car going? If that guy in Houston saw a truck full of M cars headed north and my SA told me he had 7 M3/4 (one of them mine) on the DGH Boat then that would make sense. My dealership is the BMW Arlington.

It's going to Temple. I wonder if the tracker is still a couple days behind? If so, it's possible that mine is on that truck, or hopefully leaving on one today haha. I mean, I'm expecting it for next week to not get my hopes up but here I am getting my hopes up lol...

It's def a day behind. We all knew the DGH got to the port on 14th but it didn't say "At Port" till 15th or early 16th. At least for me it didn't.

Mine is still at port as well. It was supposed to be at the dealer today(was not holding my breath).

I called genius and they said the new date to be at the dealer is the 24th(Sunday). Idk if that is going to happen since they are closed...LOL

Hopefully by next weekend.

So for me, when it got loaded, the status changed within an hr. When the car arrived at the dealer, my sales guy sent me a video of the car coming off the truck, and the status updated right away on the website

Thanks! That's good info, especially since we're at the same dealer. If my sales guy doesn't send me a video, I'll be disappointed now haha. How long did it take from being loaded to reaching Temple?
