A dumb question regarding CS software. Does the actual CS model incorporate different spring rates or is it mainly a software change BMW made to the CS? I ask because I’m considering doing this CS software flash but I don’t know how it affects the suspension. Will it feel just like a CS model? Or close to it as it doesn’t have the CS models springs?

the actual cs models have different springs and dampers. In other areas the hardware is the same but the suspension is not identical. Some people choose to retain their oem suspension but do everything else.

Chris, so is it worth it to do a CS suspension software flash if the software doesn’t match the CS dampers and springs?

Is it just better to do a CS engine flash for the added HP bump?

you have the engine, transmission, steering, dsc+differential with are always worth doing in almost all cases. The suspension flash i recommend situationally, depending on which specific model you have and what you want from it.
