hahahaaha DEAD.

Its definitely a level up on the inside vs my other rides. (quality of materials/feel)

As much as I look back my cars when parked; this one gives me extended pause for some reason. Probably cause its just so different than anything Ive had and the color pops brilliantly.

I think it's the color and the wheels. I looked at a black and then a gray, which I liked more, but not quite enough I guess.

Enjoy in good health!

I really want a wagon, I am just worried the RS6 would feel boring? Also the 22" wheels are really not my thing.

What do you think of the 21" wheels, I have not been able to fine one at any dealers, are the 22" wheels the way to go, since nobody even orders the car with 21" wheels?

AWE exhaust seems like a must have.

Any must have options, I was thinking Carbon Ceramic brakes and nothing else?

Thanks!

I love the 22s- forged and saves a ton of weight. I think its 5kg per wheel as stated by the testers. Thats alot and I dont know about the 21s sadly but Im glad I got what came with the ride. I think the 21s are cast which is a huge deal breaker for me with the 22 option.

AWE is definitely a must have as Im that guy--- the one who wants the damn car loud AF thru the ranges. The AWE is almost there but the valve controller will be the icing.

As for must haves- I think you need to have the RS Design Package (color is your preference mine is red) which gets you the alcantara and red stitching along with seat belts and colored mats. The Black Optic Package is a must for me: 22s (I know you dont like), Conti Sport 7 Tires which are really good, Black badges and trip plus rails and black exterior mirrors. You also need the Exec Pack which has full leather, HUD, Soft Close Doors, and a few other things. Mine has the Driver Assistance thing too but I dont need it. Sport Exhaust is a must.

The rest would preferences to me:

Colors
Dynamic Ride Control (I have)
Red Brake Calipers
Carbon Package
CCBS

2 months in, the car is not boring at all- its big though and it wont carve the canyons but again is that really what its for. It still handles really great for 4800 lbs and feels very light with the rear steering and newly programmed rear diff. I love the way it launches out of the hole with all the tq and roar. The rear really squats and the sensation is pretty bad ass. I think the slanted D pillar gives it a more sleek look vs the G99 M5 wagon and to me that creates a more sporty appearance. I know you dont like the 22's but the car is 196 inches long and has nice body lines that compliment the wheels perfectly.

Literally the only wagon I would/have considered. The G99 looks so bulky and odd compared to the RS6 (it may perform better, but I can't get over the looks...and although older, the interior of the RS6 is much nicer IMO).

Absolutely correct.

I am also thinking I just need to get over my objection to 22" wheels, since black optics package requires the change to 22" wheels.

And you get the new Conti 7's... they have great ratings and Ive been pushing them really well in the heat and turns; very nice tire indeed.

Took my buddy for a few dig runs today and scared him with the non taking a shit squats the car does LOL.

Nope. I never got black wheels, IMO, and glad it's dying. You lose the contrast between the wheel and tire and more importantly, it just blends into the wheel well, which kind of defeats the purpose of giant wheels in the first place (visual mass).

Plus, now that they are an option on Mom's crossovers and minivans they are deeply uncool.

<--- deeply uncool 50 year old white dude's opinion. LOL.

You are cool, like the back side of the pillow sir. Thanks for chiming in.

I do have alot black wheels on other cars so these are almost more than likely staying put.

I do like these though:

MMI is a little slow to connect for AA or CarPlay.

The sound deadening really hurts a brilliant soundtract. The AWE is a game changer so Im glad I did that.

With the drop and AWE- its basically done

Such a great looking car. Absolutely shits on the BMW/Merc wagons looks wise.
