Absolutely, love the higher pitched tone compared to the low and deep sound of my previous single midpipe. I'll try to get a better mic for the camera, the internal one sounds a bit muffled on this camera, but it captures the tone perfectly.

It’s not just the pitch. It’s just that it sounds a little cleaner than the janky loud ones you hear where if they were on another car that wasn’t an M, people would call the exhausts shit but because it’s on their M, all of a sudden it sounds good.

Any plans on downpipes or axle back? I wonder with high flow cats if this would be raspy. I’ve been in contact with them and they mocked up a resonated version for me. Price is decent to just try it.

No plans for any of those unfortunately.

Nice, videos never make justice in terms of sound but it does feel very good and better than the AA EL midpipe.
Like it has been said, we need "fly-bys" videos

Do you think it's really close of the AA EL midpipe on the X3M ?

I think the tone is very similar, the pitch seems a smidge higher on this midpipe. I found a spot for some fly-bys but we just got some snow and that road doesn't get plowed, will have to wait a few days till it warms up and melts

I’m about to order one. I’ve been holding off on switching out the stock pipe. Almost jumped on the MAD single a couple times. Wifey wants to get it for me for Christmas since I’m a PIA to buy for. Haha. Are you guys happy with it?

🤣. I just ordered this one. So add me to the list. I’ll probably keep everything stock as well except for the valve controller. Sounds really good, price was spot on and her communication was very good. 👍

Paid yesterday - how long did it take to get to your doorstep forcefed? I've got a RODE VideoMicro Go II, so I'm hoping it'll be able to capture the sounds accurately.

In regards to a single turbo being the answer to the sound problem - it's crazy how much better the S58 sounds with a single turbo, but it's a bit of a double edged sword. There's noticeable lag, exorbitant costs (close to $20k after all supporting mods + tune, can't just account for the single turbo kit), and the headache of things going wrong and needing to dial things in cannot be overlooked. That being said, I can't wait to put mine on my new G80 as the car turns into an animal afterwards, and in a good/visceral way. 100% going on after winter is over in the northeast.

If you chose express shipping it should arrive in a week.

Don't forget to add a trans rebuild along with that single turbo 🤑

Awesome. My car will be at my local shop for an alignment next week, I'll have 'em install the midpipe while it's there. I currently have downpipes only and goddamn does the car sound awful with stock midpipe/axle back. I'm definitely keeping the stock axle back but I'm hopeful that this midpipe will bring some genuine high pitched noises that are pleasant with the catless downpipes. I am a firm believer that 6 cylinder engines should scream and make high pitched noises, so I'm pretty excited but I'm ready to swap back the OEM downpipes if it's too much

Also suggest to turn m-sound off, it ads bass and ruins the sound, also it muffles this nice blip when you let off at full throttle.

I also made the jump and purchased a midpipe from CSZ Emily. I went with the resonated version similar to their x3m midpipe. Thanks to forcefed for being an influencer. I will be pairing this with Fabspeed's 200 Cel downpipe and an aftermarket axleback.

Please post results, I’m about to pull the trigger also but the resonated version may influence my decision!

You did specify g80 right? Cuz that pic if from an x3m.
Influencer?!? Don't they get free stuff?
When i got my single midpipe the sound was just so so, no need to make a big fuss about it and tell people how average it sounds. This midpipe on the other hand sounds so damn good ya'll need to hear it to believe it. The shop owner and another employee install midpipes/dp's on g80's all the time and even they couldn't believe how crisp and clean this sounded.
Got a new mic for the camera, will most likely do some flybys later tonight.
Scratch that, area was riddled with cops...

If you have a stock dp then i suggest the xpipe variant, if you have a highflow cat try to ask for resonated with xpipe.

Yes, I specified the g80. I was just merely trying to illustrate what the resonated version could potentially look like.

I didn’t ask for resonated with xpipe. Is there a reason to?

I just don't know if a non xpipe midpipe will make it sound different than mine that's all. Maybe the magic sound is just in that 180 degree bend.

I see what you mean. I’m going to try the resonated “equal length” without xpipe for the sake of science. I’ve asked for 76mm (3”) instead of OEM 70mm (2.75”) diameter. Emily will get back to me if she can make it happen. I’ve also attached a photoshopped version of what I requested.

Edit: Emily confirmed she can do a 3” diameter. The axle back I will be putting will be 3” as well so it will be seamless as much as possible regarding flow.

Darn should have asked for 3" lol, might change the pitch a bit though.
