This only becomes apparent when you plug the light in and realize it's projecting upside-down. The lights are labeled in each pair L and R, but oddly enough R was the correct side for drivers and L was for passengers...maybe it's just me but I would have expected the reverse. Not a huge deal as it's quickly figured out, but really wish I could have my last light working.

Reached out to them via email a couple days ago and still have not heard back. A little bummed as I have a nighttime photo shoot coming up and would have loved to have had these all working properly.

Did you ever get this resolved? I just installed mine today and got exactly the same problem. 3 correct ones and 1 wrong one. I reached out via email, hopefully they are more responsive.

BTW, is there a way to just rotate the lens 180 degrees like in the OEM BMW puddle lights?

So I had a bit of an odd experience, but one that I think most small businesses could have happen. I reached out to them via email or ticket (can't remember which) and the guy who got in touch with me clarified which one was wrong, then he ended up texting me saying that the lens can indeed be turned and that he would send a video of how to do so tomorrow. They are in Australia and I am in EST in the States, so the time difference was something to keep in mind.

A few days later I didn't hear back so I texted the number a couple times and finally the guy replied back and even sent a voice note saying he was very sick and that he hadn't been working for days, but that he would tell a colleague to send me the video. Still, like 2+ weeks later that never happened, so I filed another ticket.

I got an email back saying that that employee was not with Open Throttle anymore and asking which light I needed replaced. They just sent me another set of L+R. I brought up the idea of turning the lens but they didn't even offer that as an option and said they'd just send me a replacement.

I have the replacement now, just haven't installed it yet because I've been busy lately. Definitely a nice product and very easy to install, though, so overall I would recommend.

Ha, same thing happened to mine. Was so frustrating during the install but just ended up ignoring the stickers and put the one that said L on the Right hand side and the R on the left hand side.

Must be because it is an Australian company, they have the drivers side on the right? Who knows, very annoying though.

With that said, this a world class product, highly recommended. Anyone with Aliexpress, Amazon or even the OEM puddle lights is doing a disservice to their car not having these instead.

Thinking about ordering another set for the reat seats, but kind of want to try JonParts - they have high quality ones with the OEM logos...like this M track one:

Just placed my order for “M4” puddle lights. I was contemplating between the “M4 Competition” version or the “M4” version.

Went with the “M4,” thought it was a cleaner look 👍🏼

I had the same internal debate but I was a little irritated/jaded that MY24 had the M3 Competition footsills swapped for M3 ones and center console piece deleted so I went for that. Would love to see your M4 lights installed and get your thoughts.

It was from Facebook marketplace. Guy patting out wrecked g80 2021 - paid $30 for both sides. Great condition

Thanks for this. Just ordered the 50th anniversary ones from them. So far their 50th Anniversary seems to be the best looking, followed by OEM. I really didn't like the Open Throttle version.

I'll report back when I get them in 1-2 weeks.
