This is for the CS tune though- On my CS the damper and KW is still better for me in Sport not Plus.

Next time you go see Ben hit me up. I’ll get something too. I’d love to experience this mod in person someday.

Plus he cant code the LCI yet or do this mod sadly.

I dont judge what others do- its their car and this is mine LOL
Generally I'd be with you. My practice has always been... build the engine, put it on the dyno, bring it up to temperature while checking for leaks etc. and then do full horsepower/RPM runs on it. My policy has always been to break in an engine the way it will be run.

But I don't build the BMW engines and they do use a break in oil so I follow their instructions. I'm not going to be that arrogant to think I know better than them.

I just did the steering on my 6MT G80. I wasn't sure about doing the rest of the available options yet, but the steering seemed to make a small but nice improvement.

I want to do the CS tune on my 25’ G82 LCI, however I already have XHP flashed. Will they work together or do I need to pick one of the other?

One or the other for the transmission. You can do the rest of the CS software and keep xhp on the trans.

Thanks for sharing.. Joe confirmed that LCI feels more CS like. I have My25 M4 Comp coming looking forward my first GX M. I won’t be voiding my warranty, but from my understanding the CS has also confirmed different hardware upfront it’s not just software.

the CS does have different dampers which are unique to the CS models. The LCI cars have the same dampers as the pre-lci , but the g80 LCI specifically has a new EDC calibration data file as compared to the pre-lci G80. Pre-lci G80 cars could be flashed with this software and should receive whatever changes BMW made for the LCI.
