I think they didn’t even put a fan in front of the car. Just 1 run.
Mods = 300c dp + single mid pipe and a MST intake. Otherwise stock. 326wkw is 437whp I’m going backwards lol ?
Your mods aren't adding any power anyway, if the car is rated for 500hp 437 seems reasonable, but it depends on the dyno and its settings so best to ask the dyno operator why the low numbers compared to other dyno's.

You should have done a before and after Dyno session. Some dynos read low, some read high, their biggest benefit is showing the difference any of your modifications made.

They just say every dyno is different and say all types of reasons. Like how tight the clamps on the the car. I guess, after a tune. We will see. The workshop said this is normal and says look at the graph it’s a smooth curve. factory tune and looks very good, and says don’t worry about 326kw number, once we flash tune it. I’ll see the proper figures. Oh and they did put a fan in front. Sorry I wasn’t at the dyno session.

Does anyone know what the world record is for a g80 m3 base manual is? Whether it be stock motor/turbos or built, etc?

Yes, you are right.

US gasoline also used to be rated under the RON system, though that changed to AKI ([RON + MON)/2] in the mid to later 1970s here.

Absolutely. Dyno's are primarily intended to be tuning devices. Same dyno should always be used when making mods for the sake of consistency.

There is no fixed "percentage loss" that can be applied to get accurate "at the crank" numbers with chassis dynos. Almost better off using Patrick Hale's related quarter mile trap speed formula for that purpose.

When I first saw that the M4 comp does 7.6 sec 100-200 KPH and new that the c63 and Gulia doesn't go below 8, I suspected something fishy.

I have not put my M4 on the dyno yet but as has been said, every dyno is different. I had my ‘22 X3MC on a dynojet and a Mustang dyno and it made 500 on the Mustang dyno and 478 on the Dynojet. No mods on either runs. I think Mustang dyno’s tend to be more gracious with the numbers.

Getting my car dynoed next Saturday, day after break in service.
Planning on FEMTO unlock and basic bolt ons, then doing another Dyno session on the same Dyno to measure my actual gains.
